Every was talking about Drake and Caleb for the past 2 college seasons. Yes, JD had an amazing last year at LSU, but he seems much higher risk/higher reward. Maye always seemed like a safer pick with still an amazing ceiling

If I was Chicago, I would have taken Drake because I’m looking at it in a 10 year window. I don’t think Caleb is going to be amazing in the NFL. He just seems like he will be average. Jaden could be amazing but I honestly do see his career being placed by injuries just like you said high risk.

Cuz he was in a small media college and most of his numbers are skewed due to Covid…. Had his seasons cut short but he was never a throw ain’t guy he was always efficient.. he just lacked experience.

He grew up wealthy, with his family name being royalty in the city. Then, instead of going to a program to prove he’s the best player in the country and play for championships, he decided to remain local, where he had no chance to win a heisman and zero chance to win a championship. He chose comfort over greatness. At UNC he can do no wrong. When he arrived in New England a month ago, it was the first time he ever moved from his city, and will be the first adversity he has faced in his entire life. We’ll see how it goes

I heard people that scouted Daniels said once he’s scrambling. He’s more than likely not going to throw the ball. He’s only running. I just hope he learns to slide or run out of bounds. He was really fun to watch at LSU.

Drake played Appalachian State, Minnesota, Syracuse, Campbell, and Duke. He had some of the worst interceptions I've ever seen. He's grossly overrated and the most talented receivers couldn't bail him out on some of those horrible throws. He's about as good as Sam Howell and had almost identical numbers in a lot of categories. He will not be in the top 3 amongst QBs in his draft class when it's all said and done.

He’s 21. Don’t forget plus he’s very similar to Josh Allen, but even better in college. Everything you just said all the NFL analyst said the same thing about Josh Allen coming out of college look how wrong they were. The stuff I have seen Drake do at 20 years old I don’t think most veteran quarterbacks could do. You’re talking about him being inconsistent, but he was going through a crazy change in his last year college with coaches, and not having his best receiver for six weeks. He could have left gone to a better program, but he bleeds North Carolina so he stayed knowing it was a rough situation. Obviously, we don’t know, but I think Drake is going to be one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL from everything I have seen.

I am a Commanders fan so I hope Daniels ends up better, but at this point that more of a wish than strong belief as I haven't really seen how either of their games translate to the NFL. Daniels had a solid OTA's and mini-camp but its basically playing catch in shorts with no pads--so every highly drafted QB should look good in OTA's and mini-camp. From knowing the basic draft profiles of them, it is pretty clear Maye has an advantage when it comes to arm talent (particularly arm strength and ability to throw off platform), where Daniels has an advantage when it comes to throwing mechanics and athletic ability. But who will be better, I don't know.

If patriots don’t get better after mayos first year he’s in trouble. It’s all about getting better improving. You have to get better from year one into year two that’s a must. Drake Maye has to get better. If patriots go 4-13 in back to back years, I would definitely fire mayo as head coach.

Caleb has been the guaranteed #1 pick for the last 3 years, whenever he came out it was a 100% guarantee. Much like other generational talents like Trevor Lawrence, John Elway, Andrew Luck, Manning. Since they were freshmen it was guaranteed they would be the first player drafted. Drake is not generational. He's more of a Stafford/Bledsoe/Goff level talent, which is still good

Fans will be impatient, front office will be impatient, and we’ll throw the kid in too early when he still needs time to develop behind an offensive line that could very well be starting two out-of-position rookies and our top wideout being pop douglas who wouldnt even be a WR3 for half the teams in the league. I smell a disaster and another QB a few years from now unless they give this kid a chance
