@@dfwherbie8814 I agree with you. Maff does have great flow control. Will never take that away from dude. He’s a great interviewer. But, when someone is treading over his alliance(s), he gets extra with it. Example: Vlad and 21. Which is expected. Not hating on that. But, just for this specific video this was a first where Maff backed down. Usually, when he does it to his cohost, they get quiet and fall back a little. Nothing wrong with that. Love the real Babershop talk energy. Worse part about what savage said (and tried to back pedal on after the blowback, let's be clear) is exactly what he meant when he spoke on "relevant". If you take a real look at it, he's looking at from a label/corporate perspective; the way they measure (and because of it, either often miss or hurt the culture). Basically in streams, numbers, clicks in a certain age group. But the reason for that is because of how much money they can get from them. Nothing more. Not how passionate people are about, or how long that passion can be sustained. But the relevance Nas has is more cultural in every direction. He's expanded & still continues to expand the landscape & reach of Hip Hop - and here's the important part - to NEW & bigger areas. Areas where it's normally not seen. Where it previously didn't seem to belong or was respected. What Savage is calling relevance is basically autopilot for the culture, mostly maintained by artist who if we're being real are replaceable. One extreme & gross example being of the labels making an Ai rapper. And that rapper racking up ridiculous numbers world wide. Cormega had the perfect break down w/ that Landmark Vs Building metaphor. 21's definition is like one of the many new skyscraper in Manhattan built over the last couple of years. Nas is like the Empire State Building.

Wasting or draining your energy from beating your meat 🥩 9. Wasting time by scrolling social media 10. That's what I been saying forever, there's a difference between a MC and a Rapper. We not old school we was around when the culture started so if you came up in the 80's and 90's we rocking wit MC's. It's only a handful for MC's that are in the mainstream. My opinion Rappers are Pop and MC's are Hiphop. It is what it is, people say, it is hiphop evolving. No! It's just not hiphop you can't make a orange a apple, it's a orange. People try to label certain music hiphop because they want it to be considered cool.

Absolutely. It’s not hating to say that’s not a orange if it’s a Apple. You also hear Hiphop’s evolving. It’s not evolving if you take away the foundation it was built on BARS! Start a genre because what y’all doing is more spoken word. You hear people say they like this or that one. You noticed they never talk about they flow. That’s why I say let it be known I’m a MC, he a rapper. True Hiphop heads wasn’t shocked at Jadakiss at verzuz. Everybody else was because they haven’t seen the culture represented correctly. Really didn’t know what it consisted.
