The guy names Farheya in the chat, if you read this I mean no disrespect at all, but you were spreading a lot of lies and half truths in that chat throughout the video. I totally understand information is hard to parse through in the social media era, but its important to always do more research on your own for ANYTHING you see on social media. Because you were typing a lot of things that were false, or were true but not given full proper context. And I just want people to normalize not accepting things at face value. Especially stuff they see on social media. I will give you an example... With the R Kelly Spotify stuff, yes Kendrick threatened to take his music down if they took R Kellys music down. Why do you think this is? Do you really think its because he agrees or cosigns R Kellys behavior? Nah. lol It was because Spotify created new guidelines, and were using those guidelines to take down R Kelly and xxxtentations music off Spotify. Kendrick was simply calling out the hypocrisy of Spotify ignoring ALL the white artists who were also accused of similar crimes. So Kendrick, as did a lot of people at the time, thought it was race driven and singling black people out, but not keeping the same standards for white artists. So his stance was take down white artists who have similar histories, or leave the black artists alone. It was all about moral consistency. That its not okay for them to keep white artists who are convicted of crimes on the app, but at the same time target the black artists. I just wanted to put this comment not to be rude, but to say context does matter. Something can be true, but the intent of that truth does matter. Normalize critical thinking, nuance and context. People use social media and the internet to plant or push false narratives, so you always have to dig deeper yourself to get the actual truth. Beyond that, and I apologize for the rambling. But this was an enjoyable video. I liked the breakdown overall and hearing everyone's perspectives and thoughts.
