Thanks for posting! 🙂 I just discovered Drake White! I'm so thankful for KZbin. It's a place where we can discover great heartfelt music 🎶 that doesn't get played on the radio.

So glad there is music like this, that people who love talented and tasteful musicians can enjoy. Turn on "country" music and the Tupac influence has run rampant. Real country isn't dead... it's just hiding from Jason Aldean and Florida Georgia fans.

Most of today's country music is awful. It's pop music with a fiddle or steel guitar added. Drake White is old school, he does it right.

Saw this guy perform after a Saturday race at Michigan Speedway. Was easily the most entertaining concert I have EVER seen. Raw talent and a love for what he does equals one helluva show. I'm not even a big country fan really, but this guy has his own sound. A great mix of country, blues, and a touch of folk even. Awesome.

To those asking or wondering why he is not frequently played on the radio or near a household name by now, listen to his lyrics. Does it fit THEIR(govt.) narrative? Does it cause people to think about a way of life other than the one they have? They cant allow it because he speaks the truth. Listen to 50 years too late and tell me it dosent go against the grain.

If I could have a drink, with Mr. Hank Williams I'd ask him if the whiskey, if it made him feel strong. Then I'd take a deep breath, and I would hand him my Martin And ask him to cry one of his old gospel songs If I could have a drink, with the King of Memphis I'd ask him where the hell did he learn all his moves. And what was it like to watch them women go crazy When you blew their happy minds dancin in your blue suede shoes. You paved the way, you cut the path You set the standard which we all aim at And you keep livin on, through the songs you used to sing Oh and what I wouldn't give, to have one drink If I could have a drink, with the man in black I'd ask him when he knew that Ms. June was the one What was it like, to stand in that prison And sing about freedom to a man that didn't have none. You paved the way, you cut the path You set the standard which we all aim at, And you keep livin on, through the songs you used to sing Oh and what I wouldn't give, to have one drink
