Dissidia 012 - Complete Storyline Movie

I have only ever been able to enjoy the PsP versions of Dissidia from a distance, but still really loved everything I saw. What I was NOT aware of is that it had a story this big. That is to say, thank you very much for taking the time to put it all into this video! >:D

this has probably been said a thousand times before, but it's neat how OK and WoL, the two non-specific representations of four unnamed people, are the First and Last to get their crystals. there's a lot of nice thematic imagery and symbolism in this game, right down to the fine details

WoL has the most boss battles among dissidia characters and 2 of them are for garland, who can be fought in first and last boss battles. A classical nod to ff1 itself

i was pretty sure cloud got his crystal first since they put the characters on the story mode in chronological order to have the entire story and interactions to make sense instead of having it ordered from ff1 to ff10 So the order is Cloud Onion Knight Terra Cecil Tidus Firion Squall Bartz-Zidane(supposed to be at the same time, altho at different places) Warrior of light last.

Hey, just wanted to say thank you so much for making this video! I love the Dissidia storyline and it's amazing to see this compilation of all the cutscenes and the Japan exclusive content translated! I did want to just point out that the scene where lighting and co fall in the rift as it shuts isn't in this video, but I can imagine that with how long this video probably took to edit that some mistakes happen. Still, I just wanted to thank you for making this video! It's been a joy to watch over the past few days!

I left out that scene because it always gets copyright flagged - when I LP'd the game, even distorted to the point you could barely tell or hear what was going on, it got flagged. Thanks very much for watching, glad you enjoyed it :).

hey, you've probably noticed but there are some slight errors here and there. a big one is Firion's scene talking to Cosmos at around 7:37:00 is repeated at around 7:55:00. there's also a small error during 012 where Squall shows up to help someone through a dungeon shortly after the text scene showing Kain knocking him out lol. Things like that are minor though, and the writers probably weren't literally able to craft every single story point in the game to serve its momentary purpose without creating inconsistencies here and there so it's no big deal. but although i know it's a big undertaking, it might still be worth going over this and checking for fixes if you feel inclined. (i'd love if you could add in the reports too! and possibly include the important parts of Confessions of the Creator too, since that's apparently how Cid returns after Chaos is defeated at the end. both of those seem like the most important parts to tie the whole story together.) either way, bless you for this entire project.

God, I really wish they could remake Dissidia Duodecim with the Dissidia NT graphics or at least as much as they did with Crisis Core. I mean hell, overall I wish they'd at least remaster this on PS4/5 like what they did with a bunch of other PSP games
