Make some slits or other type openings in the bottom of the plane to allow more intake volume. Maybe even a large opening with a mesh to hide it? I wouldn't open up the inlets any more than you have or else you'll lose that Draken look. Great work and video.

Really great 👍👍 To solve the intake volume problem, I would either scale it up until the area fits to the 50mm fan or easier try to use a 40mm fan, I think the trust should be enough... 😉👍 I really love your videos ☺️

Amazing. Draken is my childhood. We had an airbase just outside town and Draken was the first supersonic plane. No restrictions then and load bangs were often heard. Windows sounded near to crack and I think it happened sometimes. 😂

You are an awesome aircraft builder. I would love to see you build a fighter of your choice. Seven foot Wingspan and a kerosene burning turbine. I believe you could do it. Just build it strong and would have to figure something out for the heat inside the fuselage. But I think it would be the finest built RC jet out there. One thing for sure she would be fast.
There's a version of the Starfighter on 3dlabprint which is very scale. Flies great.

That's something!!! An awesome looking plane with awesome flight characteristics.Once it is refined, I surely have to buy the files! ;-) About the intakes: Why not leave the intakes scale but make some cheater holes in the belly? I have so many 50mm EDFs and a lot have cheater holes, but it never bothered me, but the flying silhouette looks freaking awesome scale... If you really need a challenge in the future, why not try to make an F5E Tiger II 50mm EDF??? ;-)

Nice design and great flying plane. One question. Isn`t removing weight from the tail making it nose heavy instead of tail heavy?
@MrMagoo321Ай бұрын
You're on it Kyle everything you said should improve it. More intake and exhaust then just make a note of the cg on that last flight ✈️✈️✈️. Love the high alpha and overall forgiving performance along with high performance you are getting.

Set up a battery telemetry system so you don't need to be afraid to kill your batteries. Could have a watt meter based upon consumed current and voltage, or just a simple volt meter. I haven't yet made a consumed watt meter but got the parts. Not flied for some years now, but I have a voltage measurement telemetry so my radio speaks the voltage to me when it goes below a certain value.

For the CG: isn’t moving the fan a little backwards an option?
@hotlapkyleАй бұрын
I wish! It’s as far back as I could make it before it would be too close to the tail pipe. The galaxy 50mm fan is super light weight and the Draken airframe is front heavy by nature with small wings and small vertical stab

The very beautiful Draken on 3dlabprint has no cheater holes and manages well with the unmodified and very scale intakes on a 50mm fan🤓

@@mr.taylor711 That’s right. It doesn’t fly as fast as Kyle’s I think, but as a scale plane it wouldn’t have to. Mine still has to make it’s maiden flight
