The moisturizer I use the most is riceberry liitllextrra. I got my three new tubes a few months ago, and I’ve been using it for 4 months. I’ve been using tretinoin for the past 4 months for acne scars/hyperpigmentation and despite the initial dryness and irritation, my skin looks tremendously better. The dryness and irritation did subside after a month for me.

She has videos about hyperpigmentation here in which she recommended alpha arbutin, azelaic acid and some specific formulation of Vit C from brands such as The Ordinary, Inkey List and I think Naturium and CeraVe. I think The Ordinary actually has official stockists in SA. CeraVe too Perhaps search 'Dr Alexis hyperpigmentation'. Dr Dray, Dr Shah and Dr Vanita Rattan also have a lot of advice about Retinoids (for anti-aging) Dr Alexis may have something on Retinoids here too
