You know this one wasn't as bad as others. The husband didn't cheat and was not abusive, only very strict and partially neglectful, and blind for being a general. He didn't notice how his wife was neglected and not treated well, but he had been away for years, if she didn't complained which she didn't, how would she know. About the marriage it was an imperial decree, if he didn't do it his whole family could be killed. And he let the SFL get away with stuff because he felt guilty for her father dying saving his life. Or maybe I'm biased as he is one of my favorite actors. Show was pretty good though. Would have wished a longer ending
