The Isaac spit out hilarious because it shows that the baskets that are the gold standard also spit straight back some times. People just want to complain.

The baskets nowadays are amazing! Chainstar Pro, the new discatcher and my favorite, the MVP Black Hole Portal. Spit outs happen. Especially when you putt it 70 mph…..

I'm late but: this was my fourth year at the usdgc and the overall experience has been incredible. However, my one qualm is with player interaction after the 18th hole. I understand that each competitor has every right to bypass signing discs and greeting fans, but in some instances a fan may only have one day out of the four to interact with a pro. If they've had a "bad" round (oftentimes markedly better than the majority of the field) they sulk past the tent and get carted off quickly without a glance at the line waiting for them. It's discouraging to follow a card to the end just to be ignored, when I could be spending my time with a hot chase card or the leaders. 🤷 I guess the pros that stick around will build their fan base and the ones that leave already have enough old fans to justify blowing off the new ones. #growthesport

Tee pads? Big deal. It’s not like there is any real likelihood of an optics issue, since I don’t think PDGA gets even an hour of total coverage a year on ESPN. It’s really is a novelty sport, so anything that adds to the entertainment value is a win. As for the tournament as a whole, I think the most notable aspect was the collection of disasters on 17, with perhaps second being the Barry Schultz performance.

The problem with PDGA and DGPT as a whole is not being able to keep up with modern marketing. It doesn't seem as if there is anyone going above and beyond trying to push the sport to a larger audience on social media, which at this point in time is their best and only option of advertisement. And only until they finally decide to dig in their pockets a little bit and hire the right influencers/celebrities that vouch for our sport so many people shit on, we wont get the type of luxury of free livestreams of main events.

Impressive that for such a prestigious, and ROUTINE event in the DGPT schedule that there is still a keystone cop organizational failure with its on sight event logistics, and actual set up. Thank you for continuing to highlight these failures to do it right. Maria Oliva has every right to complain loudly about the failure to have the FPO area set up, as it is HER event she PAID to travel to, participate, and to compete in as a PROFESSIONAL. It is ITS OWN event. Incompetence isn't an endearing quality. Is it? Absent the Jomez, Ace Run, GK Pro, Gatekeeper, etc. post production coverage, Her sponsors do not get any benefit from the additional restrictions the PPV coverage with its many errors do show. I guess that's a benefit, actually. But, at whose cost?
