Preach clearly doesn't remember why the female Worgen faces looked so bad. It was because some people complained about the race being furry bait. So Blizzard changed the faces from fairly pretty faces to the angry chihuahua faces that we got from Cataclysm to the recent Worgen update.

Even as recently as... 2014 at the oldest, maybe even more recently than that, I had 120kbps average download speed, dropping as low as 40, which registers as dial-up on Steam.

I remember downloading WoW at 2.4 - 3.6 kbps on dial-up... Literally over a week of d/l time .. gave up after a day and took my e tire PC to a friend's and got it done in a night

8:00 i am pretty sure the wow free trail after 2010 allowed you to play up to level 20 forever .i know there was an entire community of people who tried to max out their free level 20 characters with the best gear they could get .and do warsong gulch all day and duel people in goldshire and durotar .they only had 10 day or 7 day trails in the 2000s.

As someone who doesn't play WoW really and only ever started last year...hearing of difficulties with an M+2 is insane to me. Even *I* as a basic bitch Marksmanship Hunter can beat a +2 with zero issues.

It balances out imo, because there are just as many lazy sacks of potatoes who go in there and act like it's a chill hangout sesh where they don't need to put any effort in. Ya i remember the time i started wow and got called noob and stuff i went through all content (non group content) solo and went that way all the way to SL. Keep in mind i nvr ever waste my time looking up stuff on the googles and i used whatever build/playstyle i had fun with.

my dad told me that he knew a phd student who couldn't figure out how to use a microwave, if you're doing complex things constantly, you can subconsciously start to think that every task will be complex and get completely thrown for a loop when something is as simple as a wotlk mage

Quick 2 shows the issues with wow. Spending your game time going through hell versus having fun. Drives too many people away and makes the community gate keep their groups for their own sake of not experiencing hell

It still has negative connotations as Google had been mainstream for at least 25 years and if you are asking such questions you imply you do not know how to use Google. Google is faster, easier to use than the WoW chat box, and has a better chance of providing you with a correct answer than some randoms in a pug. You should try it sometime, noob.
