I play a rogue and I just got to Stormwind after a SM run with my guild and it was about 3am realm time when I get a whisper from a mage asking if I can open a lockbox for him. He opens a trade with me and puts it in "Will not be traded" and I unlock it. Now I usually don't charge for lockpicking but it's expected that if you're getting someone to open a box you tip them like 10s sometimes more depending on the box. This fucking madlad proceeds to put a single stack of fucking mage food in the trade window and hit trade. At that point I really just wanted to go to bed so I didn't argue that the bread is useless for me because it's 3am and I'm about to log off for the night so it will despawn but I will never forget that and I will never forgive him.

I've raided in three guilds, the first one fell apart after the GM and his girl got paranoid about people in the guild and flew off the handle, kicking everyone that wasn't a real life friend (thus destroying their raid team). The second was essentially formed out of the ashes of the first, with the GM's girlfriend being entitled as hell... I was raid leading by this point, but I basically couldn't make any decisions without her "demanding an apology". I finally got sick of it and left lmao. The third I'm still a part of. Even though we don't really do that difficult of content, I've finally found a guild that doesn't treat me like absolute shit, so it's difficult for me to move on to a guild that better fits my skills.

Only thing I noticed that died in BFA was the LFR queues. Hot damn it's gone to WoD level of queue times. Waited over 4hrs for one! The servers I play on are still stuffed full of people though.

Tbf, my guild in TBC was led by a wife and we had her husband on the raid team. No drama. He was the quiet type anyways, so there's that. But we didn't progress far into the tiers and after half a year, our feral 2nd tank moved up in guilds and I quit the game, so yeah. Oh and yeah, she was a holy or disc priest and a female human, obviously. Just for the record.

You don't have to be in a building to get kicked. It's been happening to my level 1 mage sitting outside Northshire Abbey. Also, it seems to only happen when the server is full. They probably track how many actions you've performed in the past hour, is what I'm thinking.

3 tanking 10m shamans was a legit strat. You'd take the wall shaman all the way to the locked door into the next section with two tanks there trading the debuff and one healer, and one tank took the poison shaman and had the whole lower area to work with for space.

As a Paladin Tank in classic myself, yes we have no taunt. But any Pally Tank worth their salt in the Classic Genre knows, use your Judgement as a Taunt. It works.

Oh yes, the classic dilemma - to charge or not to charge. For what it's worth, my rule is that I'll create food and water for group members that I'm doing a dungeon with. If you randomly demand water, you're going to pay me, if for no other reason than to stop every single player that sees me from harassing me.

I offer money to every mage who offers me water. If they demanded payment I'd just not accept the water. But its a good gesture to offer to pay. Some accept, some refuse, a few even give you more as thanks for the good gesture. I wonna be known as a nice player so I'm doing all I can to achieve it.

The problem here with the ninja looter is that it’s looked down on more to roll on something you need are earned a chance to roll on be beating the boss, than forming a group where one person is there like a NPC and has no chance to roll on gear the earned. This is what lead to personal loot

You think Blackpool is bad. When I asked my parents if I could go to the fair for my birthday they took me to Morecambe. My mother stayed in the car and I got to go on one ride then we left. I do not remember my age at the time but I am older than you Preach, and it still stings. Hope your kid had a good time in Blackpool. When I got older I used to meet a friend who lived in Morecambe. Yeah, there's plenty of stuff that you can be spiteful about, a lot of them are related to mages or rather how they behave, and charging people for conjured food/water just happens to be a part of it.

I was running a BWL and the leader had reserved the first stone, but for some reason didn't make it master looter so ofc I rolled and won it when it dropped, the group fell apart but it didn't really matter. If you reserve something, change it to master loot, why would I waste a free opportunity to roll on something I need?

Did SM: Cath on my hunter. Caster neck drops. I see that the healer needed it, so I pass. Then I see the DPS warrior (not the tank warrior) needed it and won. He had the quest neck from a previous dungeon with +6 stam, +6 spirit, so he basically got +1 stamina and deprived the healer of the neck. The healer didn't even have a neck. The warrior was confused. The next day, did SM: Cath on my warrior (tank). Neck drops. Mage, healer, and DPS warrior (not me) all roll on it. This warrior also had the +6 stam/spirit neck already. Luckily, the warrior loses. When I called him out on his roll, he goes "oh, I thought it was a trinket, LOL." As if somehow it being a trinket doesn't make it less of a caster piece.

We use a system like the very first part for Classic- Suicide Kings style. 6 Points (capped), minus 1 for raid missed. Items are reserved for specific classes, those classes spend ALL their points on a Points Roll for said item. If no, say Mages/Warlocks want/need the Trinket, it then goes to normal roll. Honestly it ain't bad- for Classic since there's none of that Warforge bullshit. Would NOT use it for Retail.

About the SM Armory thing, just 1 question. What Warrior or Paladin Asshole Reserves, Scarlet Monastery Mail, when in just a few levels, they're unlocking Plate Armor and get a complete monopoly over that? No offense, but it's basically the same thing as fighting over the loot of of End Raids, just a few days before the release of the next expansion... It's over, the relevance of those Top items is gone, more specifically, there never was one for Warriors/Paladins since they're cursed to move to Plate armor and there's 1 other class that could use it more. ME! ENHANCEMENT SHAMAN! I NEED THAT SHIT FOR A GOOD 10, OR MAYBE EVEN 15 FUCKING LEVELS, because, Mail is to me, like Plate is to you!!! How can you expect me to have a heart, if you're not going to have a heart for me, Don't you know that the ludicrous extra AP from Rockbitter, or Windfury, makes Shamans pretty good Off Tanks? Please. Oh and if you're alliance, yeah, you got nothing to worry about. Whatever. But on the Horde side, I will fight the good fight. The fight.. for the rights, of all Enhancement Shamans!
