5a girls 3200 run, a freshman runner dropped a 10:26 today, she was cross country champion too and is looking probably to win another gold in the 800m today , she could have ran the 1600m too and get top 2 but I guess she didn’t want to

@@zaydxn2735 she actually had a chance at going in the 1600 but her coach pulled her out to run the 4x4 at region. That's why she wasn't in the 1600 tonight.

I’m a new track mom. My son is a junior and runs the 4x400, 4x200, 400m dash, and subs the 100m dash for our senior runners. It’s his 1st track season. Is a 57 good, because the boys in our district consistently run between 51-55 in the 400m dash. My son’s slowest time was a 56. He ran a 54 in one track meet, and still came in 2nd. We have a school counselor coaching our track team this year, so my son hasn’t gotten much guidance. He watches KZbin videos for help.

@@tanyabryant4969 Try to run him in some AAU meets over the summer to really see if he can compete going into senior year. The coaches for the AAU might be better than the school ones also.

That was a good ol' blow it out race at the end. As much the strongest as the fastest. That's why I think the 400m is the pinnacle of athletics events, to take nothing away from any of the others.
