Another great tutorial, thank you.☕️ why did you use this lens?

Tonny van Cromvoirt thank you. First of all, it’s just my favorite lens. It’s super versatile and the best lens canon makes. But for this shot I wanted a shallow depth of field with maximum compression, so shooting at almost 200mm with a very low aperture gives me that result. I typically use a 100mm 2,8 though.

MatthewVlogs Thanks! In my opinion you can photograph anything. In this video I just shot with things around my house. But anytime I buy a new product I like to shoot it. Does that help?

Connor Moriarty yes that helps but is there a chance i can mske some money out of this :)

Of course there is. I make money from it. I built my portfolio then applied for all the product photography jobs I could until I got my first one. Or you could reach out to potential clients for freelance work.

Connor Moriarty I just got into photography and I'm leaning into product photography. Now, how do I build a portfolio? I hear that often and I'm keen to learn how. Thanks.
