its horrible to be panicking and to be behind the wheel because you're not thinking clearly and you could put others in danger without being wary of it. Very bad situation, if you ever have an emergency, ask someone else to drive you! glad that the baby made it out of this alive !!! God bless them
@danshotguns422610 ай бұрын
@@cannedheat300Even if you haven't taken CPR classes, most people know about the c. P. R technique for babies because you obviously can't Do the same CPR you would do for an adult. So you just do the old thing where you hold the baby with your one hand and you tilt their head down towards the ground being careful obviously, and then you give them light back. Blows between the shoulder blades... Periodically checking the airway to make sure that if they cough anything up, you are able to pull it out of their mouth before they choke on it again. And to me that's just common sense none of that is anything special.

I've had to do the heimlich twice in my life. Both on toddlers. The second time I had to do about 5 thrusts. It felt like it lasted forever. @@moonlightgator I speak from experience in that I've both had the Heimlich Maneuver performed on me and I've done it on someone else. This is not a cultural thing at all. Medical emergencies are not cultural. Across the board, they're the same everywhere. You've never seen someone choking and it shows in your answer. On top of everything, this is a BABY. I'm most concerned that someone will take your answer to heart and think it will work when in fact, it won't. I promise you that. Someone truly choking doesn't have time for others to test out ideas. They'll die in the meantime. Please, educate yourself.
@sitcomchristian6886 Жыл бұрын
@@moonlightgator I think you're confusing "gagging" with actual choking. Choking is when the airway is obstructed. They can't breathe, cough, or speak. It's an emergency. Gagging, or having something "go down the wrong pipe" is more in line with what you're describing. Both should be handled with as little panic as possible.

Better yet, call 911 before you rush there and tell dispatch about the emergency. This is what the line is for. More likely, then not, you will get a police escort. Just tell them your address, what color/type of car you're in, and tell them what hospital you're heading to. Just roll with your hazards on, and they'll spot you.
