I'm using the blue one. It's not too soft or too hard. Allows for progressive braking much better than the black one and you can fully depress the brake without standing on it. Works very nicely.

I got the full set but the two harder ones parted company with the bolt quite immediately after installing them. I followed the instructions exactly. I I was unable to use them. I made a mod by myself with different rubber layers sticked together with double sided tape. Your idea is very interesting but the quality is not good. I think you should not use a standard bolt but a different piece of metal with a better bonding to the elastomer part. In the end I purchased the Fanatec CSL elite pedals with Load Cell.

I have been using prototype versions of these mods for my own racing for almost 6 months and the modded T3PA pro's are still on my rig while my personal set of Fanatec Clubsport pedals gather dust! Frankly I find the stock spring to be too heavy for me for playing truck sims. I end up with a sore leg after a few hours of having to press that hard ass pedal without any brake mod. I want tofind a way to make ieasier to press not harder

Outstanding, the blue looks perfect. Have you anything for the T3PA accelerator and clutch ? I'm finding it impossible to source replacement springs with higher tension.

r@media We are not looking at making or sourcing replacement springs at the moment as we are so busy with the Christmas rush and developing this range of mods for more pedal sets. I might well have a look at this some time in the future as I believe with a bit of tuning both the T3PA sets can be made into seriously competitive units.

@BBJ SimRacing Just discovered your eBay store and this channel (safe to say I will be purchasing a brake mod at some point!). I too would be very interested in a mod for the clutch pedal. The lack of a realistic 'bite point' on the clutch pedal is my only major complaint with the T3PA Pro so far.

how did the blue one break ? i don;t know just from braking very hard i think . get a email from bbj ,they never broke one ,not the way i broke this one ,so maybe it was a fault in the rubber or something . i ordered the green one also to see the difference in braking , the blue one is very hard i think ,but that was just the one i had So to get another feeling i want the green one as well . I like the conicial brake mod ,i get a good feeling off of it when braking .

well i got them ,first i did try the green one i liked it but after a while i think it was to soft for me ,i could not get it right with braking,it;s to much rubber(y) ? for me it wobbels ? to much ,pressed to far or to short can;t find the right thing . of you like to brake easy or soft then the green will do . the blue one i like better ,much harder and much more consistent with holding the right spot for braking It's harder so you can press it harder ,but the feeling is better i think ,not wobbel(y) ? at all ..did not try the yellow one ,but that one is even harder then the blue ,maybe too much,i don't know at least im happy now :)

bbskiier The rig in the video is a bare bones rig I use for testing stuff and for some of the videos. It doesn't have a shifter at the moment. You can find my main rig in most of my racing videos. The Porsche Cup car is not a car I usually drive, I picked it because it has the most difficult brake to modulate in iRacing (IMO).

The mod in the video is a standard off the shelf production item and there is no reason why you should not be able to get the same pedal. Possible reasons for a hard pedal are: 1) You have made an error when installing the mod, if you send some pics of your installation to [e-mail] I will have a look at it for you. 2) You are trying to fit this mod to a set of standard T3PA Pedals: This mod is not for the standard pedals, the standard bracket does not allow for fitting a larger conical mod and the replacement part will literally need to be jammed in. This will result in performance similar to the standard mod. We are prototyping a version for the standard T3PA pedals that should become available sometime in January.

Thanks for the relpy, it's fitted on the pro pedals, had to move the bracket one hole back from where Thrustmaster say to fit it so I could have a bit of a gap between the rubber and pedals so I could get full brakes.I'll do a video of it

What Sim/Platform are you on? All the modern PC sims I am aware of allow you to set the end point of the brake (or any other) pedal in software. This is what I was doing when I calibrated the pedal in the video and why I included it. So I guess I am most comfortable with a brake that requires about 60kg of force to achieve full braking. I set this up in software when I calibrate the pedal. This leaves me free to use the grade and position of the mod to achieve EXACTLY the feel of the pedal I want, once again as shown in the video.

Miguel Herrero This mod will not work well with the standard T3PA pedals as it is physically larger than the standard mod and will result in a really heavy pedal. We are working on prototypes for the standard T3PA's at the moment and hope to have news around the end of January. If you have one of the 2 pedal sets these mods will not work at all. We will probably be producing a mod for these pedals at some point but we have not done any work on it yet so expect mid 2018 at the earliest.
