I appreciate the exercises! A couple of these I already do and will add those I don't currently do. I always enjoy trying something new in the gym and I think this will be fun. Many thanks!

But wanting to be more powerful and balanced in your golfswing is a good incentive for doing these exercises. And watching Kate is always a pleasure.

Absolutely right, balance is hugely important in delivering the club on line and with speed so certainly a key focus.

Great exercises Kate perfectly demonstrated, thank you. The Victory Kevlar Insoles claim to assist in returning the power back up from where it would normally dissipate into the ground. These exercises , good insoles and a firm base will definitely assist in directing the power where you want it.

Yeah, great exercises, but I'm pretty sure Daly never had a great vertical jump.

He was incredibly gifted physically. Hugely flexible and powerful without gym work - sadly not the case for the rest of us!!

@@Precision_GolfOk. I was just speculating, but apparently you have witnessed him doing amazing physical feats? Are there videos of him doing these non golf related feats? I'd love to see them. Also, speak for yourself, I'm quite physically gifted!

@@timc4283 in order to achieve the length of swing and club control John has a huge amount of rotation, shoulder and back mobility and core and leg strength. The footage of his abilities on the golf course is the evidence of this - my reply was not an attempt to challenge or be confrontational and I cannot imagine anyone has seen Daly doing anything particularly physical off the course. It is truly impressive what he could do without the gym work they all do now.

To be honest, people just need to get better at golf before worrying about this stuff. The time spent doing this should be put into chipping, putting, and good swing fundamentals
@JK-cu7mh4 күн бұрын
This is the most ridiculous comment I’ve ever seen. How do you think people are going to play golf for longer? By being strong and mobile and flexible. Get strong first so you play golf for a very long time. You can practice your game while you get stronger. Get off your couch!!!
@Precision_Golf4 күн бұрын
This is not a substitute for good swing mechanics, however a strong and mobile body is a great framework to be able put those things into practice and swing the way you want to
@wills25524 күн бұрын
@@JK-cu7mh Agreed, as we get older it's important to maintain our mobility and ensure we can fire the right muscles so we don't start compensating which leads to poor swings and injury, we want to play our best for as long as we can.
@jamesdenny50784 күн бұрын
@@JK-cu7mh Its not ridiculous at all. If you work and have a finite amount of time for play and practice, then the fastest route to success is by practicing good golf fundamentals. Little kids who rapidly improve at the game dont spend hours doing exercises or going to the gym. They learned good fundamentals and short game first, and then their route to low handicap, scratch golf of better was through their fitness work. Telling a 24 handicapper to do a few Bulgarian Squats is not going to cure his booming slice and THAT is where he should be focusing his time. Sort that out and THEN boost your clubhead speed 3-4 mph

Did you ever think that maybe you’re not a candidate for getting stronger and more flexible? Or, do you realize that “ all” the top players have a dedicated gym routine? You can’t work on fundamentals unless you have rudimentary fitness. I’m very good at my short game, but I’m losing distance, which means I’m using longer clubs on my approach shots. Improving one’s fitness ( and swing speed) opens up one’s ability to lower scores.
