The first one really relates to me. I couldn't find the show and was trying to avoid spoilers but, then Wikipedia ended up telling me the finalists and ruined everything I wait 7 1/2 years since the Ridonculous Race finale, and I ended up getting spoiled. The WHOLE thing ruined for me. who even airs a Canadian show in Italy way before any other country?! As a big Total Drama fan, this will hurt me for the rest of my life. Hopefully, with the second season, that hurt could be reduced.

To me: 1.-Millie's character in general. She started being good and interesting, I love the idea of her research and her friendship with Priya, however, I find her plot to be too stretched and some of her actions weren't properly explained, like why did she vote for Scary Girl but lied to Priya ? was it because she wanted to know more about Ripper for her writing ? It could be, but it isn't told in the show. Aside from that, she was shady yet bland and boring, I stopped caring for her after episode 6 but I knew she wasn't going home until Priya found out about the research. 2.-The first challenge was BAD. Half of the characters didn't do anything. 3.-The first three episodes felt extremely rushed. 4.-The last challenge was boring and uninspired. I like the fact that they brought the eliminated contestants back though 5.-Ripper is so stupid. I don't know why Total drama writers struggle so much to write great male characters. He was a great competitor but man was he disgusting 6.-MK's elimination didn't make any sense. There was no reason for them to believe Julia after all she did. I really wanted a twist like, maybe Julia finding the invincibility statue or something instead 7.-Zee's elimination was funny but unfair. It would've been way better if he had tried to get Chris out before the voting. 8.-In general, 13 episodes is not enough.

This is my version that doesn't include stuff you already said: 1- Priya mentions that she is Nichelle's biggest fan, but she never gets sad for being put in different teams, and her reaction to knowing she never did her stunts wasn't that shocking for a "biggest fan" 2- If Caleb becomes a villain next season, that would literally be the 3rd time they do a character like that (Justin & Alejandro) 3- Chase being a KZbinr isn't important for any other reason than the prank he pulled on Emma 4- Raj and Bowie need to be in separate teams next season, I liked them, but their friendship needs to be tested 5- Zee got in my nerves (there I said it!) 6- I wasn't a big fan of Emma but the fact that the animal lover of this generation got eliminated for killing a tortoise (even though it was also Julia's fault) is a bit too crude, even for Total Drama's standards. And finally: 16 contestants is too big for a season of 13 episodes, and at the same time too short for a 26 episodes long season; This season should've lasted 20 episodes.

Some additional things wrong about this season 1 the fact chase realy don't have any useful skills in the competition despite being a crazy dares streamer so he should have been better at challenges like the eating challenge or the obstacle course, it literally things he do on daily and we saw that emma had that so there eas no reason for him not to 2 millie plot should have reached an end around episode 9 there was no use for it to be dragged on till the end 3 the fact most cameos were contained to the first episode 4 chef having zero trace of his season 1 self, despite being more prominent character this season compared to PI or all stars, but there is zero trace of the stoic chef that can come up with hard and cruell challenges

Chase actually did well in the obstacle course, if he didn't get distracted by Emma he could've easily been the best performer, and both him Emma actually did well in the eating challenge, they could've lasted longer if they didn't start arguing with each other.

Nah. Priya is the protagonist of this season, her and Millie's friendship showed a lot about both characters. It made sense that Millie went as far as she did. Look at it closely and give her a fair chance rather than complaining she outlasted less relevant characters.

@@nuibaba280 what I mean is that they dragged on her plot is that I think her writing should have been exposed to pryia around the final 5 where she actually started to try for real instead of waiting until the final to do so than have her prove pryia throughout the episode that she really wants to be her friend, it really annoyed me that she literally let her self be carried so far by pryia than accomplish things on her without even trying, which compared to Cody who was carried by Sierra all season he atleast tried to be on his own For me she should have been 5th place and have Emma in the final 4 which could have make it more interesting considering that there would have been zero alliances that are still working together and let bowie a chance to fix his friendship with her throughout the final 4 than eliminate Julia for being a major threat

@@amitavrashmi17 That wouldn't make any sense to reveal it there. Bowie doing it when he did was objectively better strategy and allowed him to be a finalist and potential winner. "It annoyed me that she was carried" that's an intentional part of her arc, Millie was carried and didn't do much but she stuck around since she learned to enjoy her time here and with Priya. She was happy to help her make it to the finals and defeat Julia with her. Millie does try more and more to help and she was assisting her team since the early episodes too. Emma and Bowie's friendship isn't meant to be fixed either. Emma was in the wrong and rightfully got eliminated for it.

Millie was bland, a floater, lied and kept secrets from Priya, they made it seem like they were “best friends”. I like the point that they should've tried to cast people with the same names as their characters because this implies that there would have to be someone out there named Scary Girl also yes I know her name is Lauren but she's only called Lauren once by Chris in the introduction section, all other instances where she is addressed have her addressed as "Scary Girl", in fact I believe Chef and/or Chris call her Scary Girl at least once.

Actually like half of the Total Drama winners are girls, technically there are no canon winners and all the seasons except Revenge of the Island have both a girl and a guy finalist. Plus, I think Beth, Heather and Police Cadets are the most fitting winners and the ones who make more sense narratively and within the continuity (yeah, I don't like Beth as a finalist, but based on the Celebrity Manhunt episode she probably won). Also maybe Zoey won too, I don't know, either of the finales for All Stars suck, because that season is garbage.

Am I the only one who thinks that the old cast should return with better character arcs for old time's sake? There we're a lot of people from Gen 1 and 2 who didn't get enough screen time & development such as Tyler, Brick, Noah, Trent and even Eva. Obviously at this point they'd be older with different designs. Also, they need to implement spending the night at Boney Island and the Invincibility statue. Though it's 2023, this new Reboot has so many missing elements that made the show what it originally was. The OST is garbage, and the contestants aren't memorable besides MK and Bowie. This overall is just inferior to the OG series and has downgraded by a long shot.
