This vignette is very brave of you guys to show at this time. When the musician was sent to the back of the line, my heart jumped. The story was more complex and I was surprise by the twists and turns. This was very good writing. The message of the story is clear in the end. The person that played the director is very good. He fooled me and I thought he was sincere in his apology until the clarinet switch became apparent. Also Kudos to the actor that played the conductor and the clarinet player. This was a great production and I have to complement the camera work and the sound mixing editing and choice of music. Great Job!

I love this story and it’s so good to see you posting new movies again! ❤️ Although speaking as a fellow Clarinetist he would have been able to tell immediately that it wasn’t his clarinet and case (as it was slightly different) and we are so glued to our instruments that we know how it feels, how the keys press, if there is resistance, how does the reed feel and look, etc? As I said before, He would have known something was wrong. Other than the that I absolutely loved this composer putting that racist in their place!! The aforementioned is literally such a small part in the episode just just stuck out to me because I have particular insight. Acting was as always amazing!!
@billyholly2 жыл бұрын
I agree! I also play clarinet and tried to tell them this when I reported to the set. I had only gotten the script very late, the night before. They said it was too late to change the dialogue. I had suggested that the villain just bend a register key to make the clarinet squeak. By the way, it's actually me squeaking away on a clarinet I brought to the set with me. ;)
@Unstoppable_Unicorn2 жыл бұрын
@@billyholly You played the clarinet for these parts?? I can’t tell if when you said “squeaking” it was when the clarinet was literally squeaking when he was trying to play or when he was actually playing the clarinet I in the movie. Lol

@@Unstoppable_Unicorn Only the bad parts in this final version. I had also played outside for the "good" part, too, but it was so cold that night, I could barely play at all. The bit they played was pretty good but in my college days, I was at least about like that.

Arthur Duncan was an African-American, known to many as 'The Entertainer's Entertainer for many years for his song and dance skills. His tapping skills mixed with fancy foot work put him on the map for success at a very early age. Arthur Duncan was the first African-American to become a regular in a variety television show when he joined the family of The Lawrence Welk Show. He was born to dance! I remember my dad would always watch The Lawrence Welk Show in the seventies. I wasn't a fan of the show myself, but my eyes were always glued to the TV everytime Arthur was on stage beautifully tapping away. We would have never seen Arthur's talent, or the talent of many other African-Americans, if they weren't given a chance to show their talents.

LOL! I agree. It would be the same as swapping someone's wife and not noticing. I tried to point this out to the director, maybe having the villain damage a spring on one of the keys to cause it to squeak but it was too late to change the script. By the way, that's me playing when Thomas' clarinet is squeaking. I had brought my clarinet to the set for, perhaps, playing a duet at the end fo the clip as an outtro, if that was possible.

Dear Paul, we are so happy to know you were waiting for our videos. Just one detail, and we want to be clear about it: what is happening in Ukraine is a war. It's not a crisis, it's not an incident, it's a war. Also, the war is not over. It is going on. Innocent civilians, including children, die daily. It matters for us to be clear about this situation.

@@DramatizeMe Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know it was a war. Thanks for telling me! I blame that idiot Putin for letting Russia invade Ukraine. I feel like Dramatizeme isn't the same anymore because of what happened in Ukraine since Dramatizeme videos are from Ukraine. I hope the war is over asap and justice happens to all the Ukrainian people including innocent civilians and children while all the bad Russians get defeated. Hope all the Ukrainian people continuously stay healthy and strong! I hope this is all over so you can continuously post new videos in the future!

But our father told us dont mind them study hard and don't lower yourself lower than them. He always told us " In every Forest there's Snakes ' means in every places countries or races there are bad peoples. Your father is a very wise man! Keep your head up and always pursue your dreams while forgetting those consumed by their own hatred.
