If you are on a budget and still want to have good results: Step 1 - Wash your face with a gentle but effective cleanser Step 2 - Apply a serum (face and neck) that contains Ascorbic Acid (AM) and Retinol (PM). If you have sensitive skin you can try a derivative: MAP or SAP in place of Ascorbic Acid and Granactive Retinoid instead of Retinol Step 3 - Cover your face and neck with a moisturizer containing Niacinamide (I use the 'Cerave Facial Lotion') Step 4 (only AM) - Apply a SPF all over your face and neck (I use the 'Beauty of Joseon - Relief Sun: Rice + Probiotics') That should do the trick, but if you want to go to the next level: 1. After cleansing: apply a Toner that contains Hyaluronic Acid to boost hydration and the penetration of the active ingredients 2. (Only PM) Use an eye cream containing Retinal to reduce fine lines and boost collagen on the (stubborn) eye area (I use the 'Beauty of Joseon - Revive Eye Cream Ginseng + Retinal' and it is simply superb) 3. Apply an exfoliator (lightener) 2-3 times a week in place of Retinol or Vitamin C (I use Arbutin in conjunction with Mandelic, Azelaic and Kojic Acids) Have a good skin :)

Most of my young life I never thought about my skin. I come from a time that women actually washed their faces with soap. You washed your face with soap like Ivory or Palmolive and then a very thin dab of Ponds cream on your face, that was it for me. I was born before WW2, from a different culture, unsophisticated and so, who knew? When I finally left home my roommate (who was in her 30's) introduced me to skin care. I am multiracial and the reason I never thought or worried about my skin. It was in my 40's that I seriously began to use products that were beneficial to my skin. I didn't see crepe skin until my seventies and I believe it has to do with my racial mixture of Caucasian, African and Native American. Now in my eighties and recently I'm beginning to see jowls. I also exercise and I know that helps, but this is different. After listening to your video I'm going to begin your regiment. I have never had any surgery, or botox. I'm going to do a before and after photo for the next year. I want to know if a woman at 87 can make changes to her appearance. The women on my mother's side of the family lived into their 90's and over 100 years of age. Hopefully I won't topple over and make it to 2036.....if not, c'est la vie!🌿

As a 63yr old 'skin-thusiast'.... I've been taking good care of my skin and using a fairly low-key regime for yrs and after all this time I've figured out this: A simple cleanser and in the AM a 20% vit c serum and a spf50. I never go outside without wearing spf50 and in the PM a retinal serum and a peptide/ceramide moisturiser.... I may periodically use a chemical/manual exfoliant. Takes 10mins twice a day and doesn't cost a fortune. Many people have commentated on how good my skin looks for my age.. :)

For a little bit more mature skin Dermalogica biolum c serum is probably the one of the best- I'm using the True skin right now and have a darker skin tone as well as struggle with melasma since my first baby... it's working well but I'm going to probably switch to one of the other 2 after I'm out ONLY because of my melasma. @@missmi1654 Hello.....Vit C can be a bit of a 'mine-field' if you're a 1st time user. For me personally I only use an 'ascorbic-acid' variant and I have been using this for a number of years and can tolerate quite a high percentage. I like and have had great results from: Pure Vit C 21.5% By Wishtrend (Korean) and 20% Vitamin C and E with Ferulic acid = Skin Deva (USA) Both non-sticky and absorb well...and I consider to be a good price... Only use these high percentages if you're skin is accustomed. If you're a 'Newbie' start off with something @ about 5 to 7% and build up over time Skin care is for the long haul it's about consistency and not to expect 'miracle' results (they don't exist).... I hope this helped. :)

I for example use Vitamin C, Niacinamide, Hyaluronic acid and SPF in the morning (after watching your video I will definitely include Peptides as well in my skincare), and only tretinoin every single night. Should any of these serums be used during the night with tretinoin? Or is it best to use tretinoin on its own? I have been taking care of my skin since I was 16 using rose water and all rose based products and slowly introducing vitamin C and other ingredients...now I'm 37, but due to a genetic disease my body and skin are 10 years younger...it's not an advantage because I cannot do practucally anything due to my skin: I'm allergic to all sunscreens (natural, chemical, mixed, water resistant or not, you name it, I tried it) so no sun or sea since I was 18 and I'm allergic to hyaluronic acid, collagen and retinol, they all clog my pores really badly (even if they are not pure or contained in a serum) and make my face look as if I got a really bad sunburn. I don't know what to do and it's difficult for me to go out during summer because the sun hurts but having to treat a dermatitis for a week to go out 3 hours only because I used sunscreen is even worst....my doctors and dermathologist gave up, they don't know what's causing the problems and I have no idea how to prevent premature aging and keep my skin hydrated.

Excellent advice! It's so true that there is no point in doing this if you aren't using suncreen and other sun protection. You would pretty much be better off not doing this, than doing it without sunscreen and other sun protection (in my experience). I am going to give your product a good long try! I hope you talk about chemical exfoliation coming up sometime. Maybe I've missed that in past videos. I've been doing experiments on my skin for the last 10 years and I have found a lot noticeable improvements with using chemical exfoliators and I have before and after photos of that. I've also found microneedling to be really beneficial too. I think I now need to focus a bit more on better skincare in addition to the other treatments I've been doing here and there.

They say a simple routine is best. I don't believe in d.y.i. though, especially if you are using food ingredients because the molecules aren't small enough to penetrate the skin so they are just sitting on top of your skin. @@palestar828 Well, my DIY is not using food ingredients though, I just buy cosmetic grade raw materials like 95-99% korean aloe vera gel, pure castor oil, rose water etc as when I grow older my skin becomes sensitive to hard chemical skincare products like alcohol/parabens, aha bha and retinol. These chemicals that are available in most skincare products makes my face burn and itch and totally dried up my skin.

Also, AHA BHA on alternative days that are different from the retinol days, because I have whiteheads, blackheads, pores and redness. Tricky thing is my skin, though red, doesn't react to Retinol at all. I'd say that I already see the result, especially I use the recovery sort of night cream every day. With the help of AHA BHA, the redness and light acne scars reduced a lot. My products contain all those ingredients except concentrated VC and peptide. After the AHA BHA treatment is over, I'll get VC serum plus peptide ones.I only have VC eye cream with slight addition of peptides at the moment.

If you go to a dermatologist they may start you off with tretinoin 0.25% which is the lowest strength. You use a pea-sized amount and start slow because it’s very very irritating for most people. This is the first video I've seen of yours amd commend you on your Skincare Routine. I am surprised though that you didn't emphasise the importance of regular exfoliation...even if using your routine. If the dead skin cells are not exfoliated, then anything you apply will not have maximum benefits. Just a thought.

You probably don’t want to hear this, but, I’m not really surprised as If you’re eating right like a low carb higher fat protein diet is everything you need to keep your skin and body healthy! Plus Your exercising and you are taking care of your skin like you said chances are anyone of us can look ten years younger especially at your 38. I know I did and I wasn’t really trying too hard. But the proof is in the pudding as when you hit fifty or so things can start to change dramatically. So hopefully if you can keep up the skin care regime your on you’ll look forty at fifty. I think unfortunately as we age just the thought of growing older can effect how we look. So what ever it takes, you kind of have to forget about the aging process and live a worry free carefree life? So far it’s Worked for me🧐Good luck. Peace out

I am 80 and have no pigmentation on face and hands and no wrinkles except a very few fine lines around my mouth. My Mum was the same and she insisted I wore make up from age 14. Boy was I popular at school in those days. She said it was a good protection and to prove it jiust look at a Nun's skin. She made me exfoliate my sking with a teaspoon of table salt mixed with a little cheap face cream and then rinse it off. For my hands she told me to use cooking salt mixed with a little cheap face cream. It's paid off now at 80 I thought I would do what Dr Karram says

I didn’t grow up in the era of sunblock. Instead we used sunscreen but there was no such thing as SPF. Not until I was in my 30’s did we have SPF. I’ve used it every day since. Never leave the house without it. Now at 74 I have people all the time guessing my age as 50’s . Unfortunately they don’t say 30’s. Lol I use all the products he described here

I’m considering using Trifecta Vitamin C Serum and all in one cream however, I was wondering if I can use them just once a day in the evening since I have another serum for the AM and don’t use a moisturizer in the morning? Also, is it ok for me to apply a separate retinol on top of the cream to get the full dose? Thank you 😊

I just turned 48 and have never done anything special for skin care. Nobidy ever really told me I should. I just scrub my face with a wet washcloth and avoid the sun like a vampire. (I have blonde hair and green eyes. I practically burst into flames right away). I don't have a single wrinkle. I guess I should do SOMETHING for my skin, but SHEESH! What shocks me here is the AMOUNT of things one needs. I've been researching prices for good quality creames, because I believe the drug store varieties are thinned out to practically nothing, and I know for a FACT, that I will NEVER be able to afford all that! Plus, how many creams do people put on at once??? Can they even work if there are so many layers? I'm very sceptical about starting up. It all seems so complicated.

Look heres the bottom line...all surgeons are sales people...some do great work and some do not....most outcomes are driven by how well you heal and the technique used....faces are not like blocks of wood....notice famous movie stars that have access to self-proclaimed 'best' surgeons....no one pays thousands to look pulled but the best surgeons cant predict final results...for every PERFECT post procedure picture these sales guys post there are many others that are not so... NOTHING looks worse than walking in a room and having people notice a 'done' look on your face....moreover and MUCH MORE IMPORTANTLY this guy charges over $70,000 for this vertical restore facelift...if you add in travel and hotel and food and other ancillary costs youre probably talking 15% above that......I would rather put an addition on my home for that or take an around the world vacation.....and guess what...you still age...AND once again unless you get a vertical lift from your toes to your scalp then you have a pulled face and an age appropriate body....its just not a statement you want to make. Use sunblock....eat healthy....moisturize and accept the fact that most people dont have $80,000 for a facelift....trust me as eloquent as this guy is he still not a miracle worker! As I told my wife there is only one PROVEN anti aging protocol....a little thing called DEATH...youll never age another second :)
