It is a Silent Knight fire alarm system with Honeywell SWIFT wireless. There are System Sensor wireless low frequency horn strobes.

I’ve been trying to find more information regarding compatibility of SWIFT series devices with various fire panels. Any idea if the SWIFT gateway is compatible with a standard conventional NAC? I’d love to connect a SWIFT gateway to my 20P & install several A/V’s around my home in hard to wire locations.

It's stories like this that make me wish commercial systems were standard in every home, (not just for hearing impaired people but any homeowner) for one thing you the homeowner get to pick the sound you hear in an emergency, (via the alarms that are installed) compared to normal residential smoke detectors all of which have a piezo horn. Sure they're somewhat more complicated to operate than a traditional residential smoke detector system, (and of course also require a professional technician to service due to said complexity) but if you ask me you can't go wrong with a commercial-grade system.

they're called commercial systems for a reason lol, there's a bunch of commercial zoning and permits that'd have to be done for a full blown commercial system in a house. I'd say go with a DSC Neo system with wired fire devices.

@@alexandersalarms5380 That's the difference though: residential security systems are, as their name implies, meant mainly for security purposes, with fire detection being an optional feature, commercial fire alarm systems however are _made_ almost exclusively for fire detection & alarm purposes. You'd use up the zones on a residential security panel pretty quickly for the fire alarm devices, leaving almost none left for the security sensors.

@@TheCarson116 DSC Neo's are UL Listed for commercial fire and in this case my company has installed a few DSC neos with the intent of fire protection...with low frequency sounder/strobe devices... it works. DSC Neo's work for Standalone fire devices and don't require any security zones to operate. Same with DMP.

Those aren't detectors, just System Sensor L Series Low Frequency Sounder Horn/Strobes. The horn/strobes will *NOT* work unless there's detectors *connected* to the system!

Ummm those are not “Strobe detectors” those are just plain horn strobes. If you want a strobe detector get a gentex smoke detector with strobe. In fact they should have used that.

With the gentex ones, you have to be in the same room as thw fire to see the storbe which defects the purpose, and the average viewer doesn't know what a horn storbe is (when told by name) and stuff
