Baraqiel released broken. His Plasma attack doesn’t benefit from the Heavy Weapon trait. It’s a giant cannon and doesn’t get the buff. They are my favorite faction and are just underwhelming in every area.

I think Dark Angels is too committed to the older version to change with one character. Saraquel’s defense slot should switch to a blocking item so he can benefit from Azrael’s passive. Azrael should benefit from his own passive as he wants to be on the frontline and he has overwatch. Asmodai needs a big rework, and since he lacks overwatch or plasma he should have the melee statline of a true monster and some team buffing abilities since we aren’t gonna get a healer. For the legendary character I would like to see Sammael on his jetbike to give Dark Angels a high mobility character with plasma and overwatch and give tacticus another mounted character like Tanksmasha. Or they could go with Belial and maybe give him overwatch to have some synergy with the existing faction flavors in game.

DAs are my favorite imperial faction in tabletop and lore…and my least favorite faction in Tacticus. It’s a real shame how badly they designed the DAs for this game. So much wasted potential 😒

Don't forget, Azrael just did get a buff on the December 10 patch, where his health was increased by 11% and his damage by 26%. I have my Azrael up to Gold 3, my highest character, just cause I play for fun and like the Dark Angels, but I barely noticed a difference other than the occasional arena fight where he put out a bit more damage

I though at the beggining that they rushed the Dangels out for the Lions release but here we are 2 years later with no 5th and 5 gsc characters in 1 month a complete faction

more powerful Dark Angel synergy would also be nice so a team would be useful. of course the legendary character may provide that in the future.

Yeah DA are my worst build faction. 2x Stone azrael/Asmodai, 1x Bronze (Sarq) , 1x Iron (Barq) . No other faction is this bad, not even the much newer BA. Almost every other faction has at least a silver, gold or Dia char. playing for two years with 11 Dia chars. DA feel utterly useless. Maybe PVP if you like em. Rest meh

They don't fit mechanicaly into any major game mode. Why would you use them? Maybe for guild war only, and even there Asmodai is useless.
