I have just started in watercolors here in Dec 22 at age 81. I have to say I have been more successful with your drawings that anyone else. I love this style it suits me and I can actually do it where as before this I could not draw a duck. Thank you for the tutorials you put out I am getting so much out of them.

Of course being red-green colour blind doesn't help. I could carry on painting tree trunks green and the leaves brown (as I see the colours) and call it artistic licence but thanks to you showing what colours to use and, importantly, how to mix them is such a help. Thank you again.

Another beautiful line and wash W.C thanks Peter. I agree with Deborah below in that since I have been following you I too find that loosening up while drawing my work is so much better, I would never have believed it but it is.I certainly held my pen far too tight before and it showed up in my work and it took me for ever to do a drawing which never turned out well . Always nice to find a lower cost alternative to Pigma Microns. I have tested my uni-ball deluxe micron, and they do run when wet until they've dried for several minutes. Even then the Uni-ball will start staining a wet brush. Pigma Microns seem to dry faster,, and more waterproof, but the tips are more sensitive than the Uni-ball roller. Use the Uni-ball for final ink touch-ups after the wet work is done like gel pens?

I could watch you draw and paint for hours! Fascinating in all aspects. I especially like your use of a limited palette and the plays with warm and cool colors, even transparently...very thoughtful. I do have one question. You apparently use both hands to draw and paint. Your left hand is just as busy as your right hand and there is a pattern to your left hand movement as you draw. You appear to be grasping something, and I'm wondering about it. That's all. Simply nosy and overly observant. Your work inspires me and I am provoked to get off my computer and put pen and/or paint to paper. Thank you for your fine examples. You are a blessing to me.

Watching you draw makes me think of my late grandfather. He was multi talented. He drew a farm picture on a napkin once. I was young, and questioned who drew it, he said he did. I feel kinda bad because I didn't believe him at first. It was three dimensional lol. It was so very beautiful. This is phenomenal. I mean that! I'd try to buy it but I'm not a good sport on eBay when I lose at bidding lol.
