DRAW with ME! Hyper Realistic Pencil Shading, Drawing in Real-Time

‪@BMDPortraits‬ shares a very long and boring drawing tutorial video in real time using Graphite pencil on Strathmore Smooth paper. This slow and long pencil drawing process where I teach how to draw, shade and blend hyper realistic skin tone in real time is an answer to my viewers, subscribers requests of a raw and live drawing video. Many pencil portrait all over the world especially beginners appreciate this kind of unedited drawing tutorial videos rather that speed drawing because it is easy to follow and learn and observe the actual drawing process. Although this drawing video is a lot longer, pencil artists find it more valuable because they can see everything, the pencil strokes, the techniques, the drawing materials and the real pace of the pencil drawing process. I hope this real time tutorial videos can reach more and more struggling portrait artists all over the world. Although I am not very fluent in speaking English and my accent is funny, I try to speak pure English so I can reach more people. My Reference photo is BTS Kim Taehyung (BTS V) and the graphite brands that I use are Mitsubishi HI-Uni and Caran D' Ache Grafwood.

Mostly as I know so far, method is gread and time consuming, but for those who lose themself in art and enjoy doing it this is not even hard and boring. It is what make you dive into your art and escape reality for a while 😊 You are not boring, you are detailed. And for those who see it boring this even is not for them. Cause process itself is long and slow and this is how its done. Having time and patience is what makes great art like yours. Keep doing what you do, because your video is gold worthy ❤ By the way... Love your portrait! You said you used Strathmore paper, are you referring to the vellum surface. I just started portrait drawing.

I like your technique, but if it's the same as the photo you're copying, why use another picture? My suggestion is that you should include artistic elements, so it's not the same as the photo.

There different styles of portraiture, its just so happen that my forte is realism, some artists are into more expressive or impressionist styles, but I'm very open to trying and learning about these looser styles too.
