I know that it is necessary to do projects that organize the work space so that the flow of work is smoother, and I'm a fellow Midwesterner and machinist as you are. That's why I hope that you don't take my message as a display of maliciousness when I say flat out, You need more actual machining content on your channel. More helpful and in depth projects that showcase your skill. Not only counter boring and changing holes, but real machining. You have a well equipped shop and probably some GOOD skills that are getting lost in to over simplicity of your projects and the extremely short videos. I look forward to the notifications when you upload new content but am starting to get disappointed. You were a viewer before you became a creator so I think you, deep inside can relate to what I'm saying. I truly appreciate the time you take building content, but I do, and I've spoken too, expect more from you. SORRY, not to be rude, Just sayin.....

Hey Ron, Thanks for the feedback I really do appreciate it and it's hard to gauge what people like and dislike when they don't post comments like yours. I have been constantly working to improve my videos and lately have not had any real projects going on. I think my last one was the backing plate for a 4 jaw I did about a month ago, but that was pretty straight forward. I do have a couple rifle barrels I plan to do in the near future along with a custom AR stock I've been thinking about for a while now. I just do this as a hobby and there are a handful of times where I do projects and I just don't have the time or energy to record and edit them. I just repaired an exhaust manifold the other day for a 14hp Kohler engine, but I didn't have the energy to record/edit. Would have made a great video though. I always open to constructive criticism and suggestions for future projects. I also have been trying to make a mix of shorter videos lately for people that just want to watch it done and are not necessarily wanting to do it themselves. I do plan to get back into more informative longer videos though. Thanks again, and hopefully I'll get something up soon that will peak your interest again. Thanks!

You have 5700 subscribers because people like your videos. Stay the course and put out videos you like doing. Just saying.../

Besides, I ain't smart enough to watch you turn out helicopter parts anyway.

There goes the helicopter build! In all seriousness, I have many interests, so once in a while you'll get a short video like this. My main hobbies are building rifles, machining, and cars, so that's what I try to focus on. I also was a finish carpenter for several years, but there are a million woodworking channels on KZbin, so I don't mess with that much. I do like working with wood though, so this video is about as close as I've gotten to that other than wood rifle stocks.Anyways, no problem, like I said, I appreciate the feedback.

I would line the bottom with the empty bag so you'll know what to buy when you run out.

That's not a bad idea. I've only got four of the most common sizes I use in mine so I know what I would need.
