I choose to believe Nathan had befriended a Victorian/Edwardian ghost who only vaguely understood what a remote was; then on that day the ghost accidentally possessed him and they were having some awkward sitcom moments where they were both trying and fucking up at looking normal. The 'remote incident' was one of many mini issues that looked hilarious on the outside but felt mortifying and violating on the inside. Nathan would rather not explain his predicament though. He was both too embarrassed and didn't want to throw his ghost friend under the bus (which ironically he also didn't live long enough to know what that is,) so instead he just nods and lets the Drawf crew explain their perspective and doesn't elaborate and silently groans at a memory he'd rather not relive.
