If you want to know about the "www" japanese thing, it's because "laugh" in Japanese is "warau". so laughing three times abbreviated is "www", making it their version of lol. You'll also sometimes see the kanji (笑) instead of the w's. Also, if you've ever seen ascii art of some dude mowing his grass, it's kind of the japanese version of roflcopter. "wwwww" looks like spikey grass, so it was popular like, 10 years ago to add the ascii art. These days, you'll see a TON of people instead posting 草 for the same reason. It's the kanji for "grass", so it's referencing the fact that the w's look like grass, meaning they have now reverted back to a single kanji for lol.

6:06 idk if anyone has explained this yet, but here's the explanation of Japanese laughing and the letter W! The W comes from the word wara (笑) "to laugh." More w's means more laughter. Someone thought that the w's looked like blades of grass and "wwww" began being referred to as kusa (草) "grass." The pronunciation is still wara-wara-wara-wara in this form. Suggestion: in many animal species, the males put on colorful show to draw in the female. Many birds, like the superb bird of paradise, carolina parotia, costa’s hummingbird (aka squidface), or the greater sage-grouse, flash their plumage but also mudskippers, smooth newts, and peacock spiders put on a beautiful (and hilarious) display to attract mates. I’d love to see the Drawfee crew take these creatures looking for love and turn them into humans. (Really wanting to see Karina design some beautiful clothes for some “poor little guy” looking for love)

for anyone curious about the japanese 'www' laughing thing mentioned - its a shortening of "warau", which means "to laugh", and its basically like saying "hahaha!" additional fun fact - in more modern slang you tend to see 草 "kusa", which translates to "grass" (because the line of wwww looks like a grass field)
