you know what i support julia doing bits that are just for the folks in the room and not perceptible to stream outside of the running commentary by the other drawfee members 1. the commentary is funny 2. i'm pretty sure i (or someone smarter than me) could make the case that it's performance art reflecting on parasocial relationships, work-life balance, the faces we wear in public vs private and what that distinction means in the digital age especially with jobs such as theirs... something along those lines 3. she deserves to be exactly as visible as she feels like being in short, paper bag head rights. let her cook (offscreen)

ive been watching traitors australia too, after watching the uk and usa versions. i also looked up paul after realising i knew all the contestants except him. his screen time is mostly shots of other people that he managed to get caught in. they did such a good job of cutting him out. he also stands out when you do hear his voice because in a show with 20 australians, he's very english and not australian.

The talk of specific TV content reminds me of when I last had cable over 10 years ago, and the easiest way to see what was on was the freakin TV Guide channel. Literally a slow scroll of the shows airing on each channel…but with the top half the screen airing syndicated reruns, mostly of Weeds and Ugly Betty. Oh how my roommates and I hated both those shows, but became weirdly familiar with the characters and story arcs from watching 5 minutes at a time several times a day.
