I don't know if you even read the comments or if some one gives you feed back on what is being said, but I can't thank you enough for this. If I would have had this as a teen in 1992, maybe I would have perused my dream to create comics a little more tenaciously. Truly inspirational!

Thank you so much for sharing your time and expertise, so generous. I love that your process happens on the page - the work carries so much energy. I think light boxing can render work inert (not in all cases of course). Your process feels more like painting (my discipline), wherein a lot of thinking/ revising takes place on the page; almost a palimpsest.

Seeing how the sketches arent immediately perfect and hes just jotting out ideas and fixing it along the way, makes me feel so much better. i also can't believe how much work it takes to draw out one page of a comic yet he makes it seem so effortless due to all his experience making comics. 😳

Lessons from arguably the greatest comic artist of all time. Wow. Who better to teach comic book art. Breakdowns are the hard part. I would pay over half just for breakdowns. Even if the Breakdowns are bad they still help because I'd feel so much better and confident and I'd get it done much faster.
