Very cool channel man! It's just art and you narrating it, kinda like mine only I do clay instead (I used to draw tho before discovering sculpting) Have you ever tried sculpting? I do miss drawing... Subbed.
@SchaeferArt6 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks for tuning in, much appreciated :) I've never really tried sculpting - I think I may have done it once or so in high school and I took a ceramics class but you know how it is when it's an assignment, basically just get it done with no soul haha. So never tried it seriously but I've always thought it'd be cool to try. I was just thinking recently that it might be helpful to do sometimes and sculpt something I need a reference for when I can't find a photograph of something at the right angle - feel like a 3D sculpture of it would be more helpful as a reference. Anyways, your videos are cool - watched the mushroom one, that is super cool! Hope all is well! :)

@@SchaeferArt You could always try using a 3d object as referencing for a drawing, but seeing how you break down the image through measurement mapping I'd think 2d images would be better... no idea. But for sculpting, on the other hand, a 3d object used for referencing is way easier (for me) to follow. I done this with a Tiger's face and Elephant, I just used some mass-produced nic-knack borrowed from my mom lol I was only curious if you sculpted because I didn't at first, only drew. But then one day I tried a box of air-dry clay and loved it. (but now only use oven bakable clay) Your portraits are VERY good btw! I only did one single portrait personally, but never tried it again. All my drawings were so dang strange! I need to make an updated collection video on them really. The one I have now I talked too much in it lol. I really appreciate the return visit and complement, it sure means a lot! Hope all is well with you too it was nice meeting another fellow artist!

Thanks for the proportion instruction, I can't do portrait drawing...but this makes it less intimidating.
@SchaeferArt6 жыл бұрын
No problem 😊 in the end it’s just one measurement leading to another and so on.

Splendid. Is it appropriate to request you for the picture from where you did it..?

Yes! I actually meant to have the reference in the corner of the video and forgot to add it. Here's a link: www.sannyas.wiki/images/0/05/Osho_HD_107.jpg

Have you done bodies in motion drawing? I have problems creating what i have in my head. I can copy but that defeats the purpose of why i want to create these pieces. Maybe i need a better search word. I haven't looked in a long time.
@SchaeferArt6 жыл бұрын
Are you talking about animating figures? Like animation stuff? I haven’t drawn many human figures or anything really. Yeah I think most folks have that problem regarding drawing what’s in their head. Ironically you have to draw a lot from life and use references before it becomes natural at all to draw from head and look realistic.
@kbowler92666 жыл бұрын
I have done a fair amount of figure drawing and realism. I just can't get people to have that look of being in motion or in the action maybe of doing something. Like swimming or dancing
@SchaeferArt6 жыл бұрын
Only thing I can think of recommending is to find others who have done what you want to do and see how they did it. I'd check out pinterest if you haven't already: www.pinterest.com/search/pins/?q=running%20figure%20drawing&rs=typed&term_meta[]=running%7Ctyped&term_meta[]=figure%7Ctyped&term_meta[]=drawing%7Ctyped

@@robaianrobian I don't contest that he understood and developped the way to make people feel better. But for me he is still a guru with a lot of money with a powerful of persuasion. When He decided to leave the ranch in Oregon with a lot of gold, watches, jewels in his private plane we saw the real face of this brillant intelligent person
@robaianrobian6 жыл бұрын
Well he was leaving so carrying ur expensive belongings is what should be done. Regardless, if he really about material things he would have stayed and not leave he would have more if he stayed and fought for the city, but he really don't care about all this nonsense. He had everything to stay and defend what he has.
