These videos are really good but as a beginner some of the best exercises and practice you can do is learn to draw basic shapes learn to draw circles, ovals, squares, triangles, etc. and then take those basic shapes and turn them into form spheres cubes, pyramids, and cylinders so that you can learn to draw in three dimensions. There are lots of tutorials on KZbin, and then also watch these videos so that you can apply those basic shapes that you’ve been practicing to complete drawings like the ones in this video .

​@whale4503 It's the legs, look how they're balanced and symmetrical while his torso is vertically oriented 90 degrees up in the middle. There is too much balance and symmetry in this pose.

Yeah I wouldn’t have continued with the detail with that lack of movement. That said, sometimes it’s harder to notice these things when you are drawing on a flat surface
