For anyone humming and hawing about the ART school, I have been drawing for 12 years off and on, I own at least 50 different how to draw books and courses, If I had found Marc's course, I would of saved a LOT of money. He has information in his classes that you couldn't get anywhere else, tips I've never heard of. For instance, he takes the concept of clothing and folds and breaks it into more than just tension points like other artists do. He turns it into tension points, gravity, and loose points. I can't sing enough praises about his course.

*effective perspective* thats fun to say. Thanks for the great video, I hadn't thought of using symmetry lines on the individual forms. Always worth it to watch the full thing. Even if I just learn one completely new tip, the repetition of everything else helps me keep those principles in mind while I'm drawing.

Thank you, Marc! I started watching your videos a while ago, when I was still a traditional artist. I wanted to make transition to digital but it seemed like I was resistant to it, so I gave up and that really drained my motivation to do art at all. no one ever explained this to me in such a structured way. Breaking it down with the mannequin, overlap and guidelines makes so much more sense! Now drawing in perspective seems far less daunting. I knew how to get the lines for the perspective but figuring out how my character fits into that perspective has always been a struggle. Now I know how to break it down! Thank you Marc!

Hi Mark, i have a video idea, I think an in-depth process video would be a big help. From the ideation of a piece, anatomy block in and rendering would clear up what to do, not skipping over the technical things that come naturally to experienced digital artists but not so to beginners. What I love to do to get myself to understand what should and shouldn't be seen from a specific angle is to take a front view, make a side projection of it, place a pov where I want it to be and use straight lines from pov to certain parts to understand how much shortened they will look in perspective It's not a magical solution to everything but it can visually let you understand how perspective changes things and how certain shapes rotate.
