Hey I been addicted to your channel . I do my artwork the same way and can relate to a lot but also learned a lot too and you have recharged my artistic inspiration battery and I am up and ready to start this piece that image been floating in my head just didn’t know what to do until today when I was half asleep and zap there it was. I have been sick for long time and bed stuck if it wasn’t for my crazy artistic flare or spirit I would be a painful zombie. I had my first inspiration piece today right in middle of worst back pain I was going through. I been waiting a year to get inspired for something magically out there and it hits while in agony I swear I got worse timing so I been half listening to you while trying to get this most crazy thumbnail done in worst pain and trying not to laugh at myself so pain doesn’t get worse , and no I don’t do drugs but some days wish I did lol. and I didn’t think I could draw it but I did yeah ! Which means it’s alive and going to happen and I wasn’t reaching to high( it was really a lot imagination based it’s woman half tiger but she changed herself in half wolf with owl covering her from back staring at another wolf reaching out finding her hand is a paw ) Anyway I heard having problems with brushes being ruined by masking fluid . I found a hack for that by mistake and I have been using it two years haven’t replaced another brush it sounds crazy but it works. You cover the brush in baby oil the bristle dry it as much can sort of wait couple minutes and then dip in masking fluid and paint it on then wash it off with warm water and soap for next time you need brush ( I usually use spit to get round pointy again my art teacher taught me that over 30 yrs ago , I know I am very young lol) and that kept my watercolour brushes good that is what I normally use but I ain’t fussy I am mix media artist. I hope that helps but I do mainly use synthetic brushes only few ain’t but it work for me hope you have same success, if do please tell me then I won’t feel so nuts coming up with that idea. Also another hack which I screamed for this one because it’s saved me hours and hours on lead pencil blending and also used on ink intense too shock it worked but it took like twenty hours off blending work away. It’s makeup brushes anything I want to blend and give that airbrush look too as well was a cheap set of makeup brushes I haven’t used it on every medium but so far what I use it on it works beautiful. I use to do pencil art blending would make piece take 18 hours because back then I was perfectionist. I lost that disease at last but my last work I had whole fairy portrait ready to paint done in three hours even my best friend who is artist couldn’t believe what you could do with them Hope that help. I also want to thankyou for channel you started there are some nights I can’t sleep and listening to you gets me through those bad nights and I am sure you are touching other artistic souls out there too Please keep motivated and keep going otherwise I might have to go back to Lampwork and you should see how many burns and scares I accumulated. The nurse banned me from it to I healed I didn’t mind it was getting to painful and I needed to get into my art

Dude you are amazing! I am really trying to get better at drawing cartoon faces. Still working on it... Usually it become uneven so i either start over on the drawing or i try to fix it being uneven (Usually does not work out when i try to fix it). Also i usually mess up on the way the whole picture looks because one side looks good than the other looks like trash.
@LovellArt8 жыл бұрын
Hello mate! Ahh I sympathise! you could try using tracing paper to try and get things even on the other side, you can flip the paper over and rub pencil in the right position so you can have some rough marks to draw over correctly :) Best of luck!

Hey man! great work as always!. I was wondering though, so the pro markers comes in different intensities or is it that the pressure measures the values in shades? also i don't quite understood the difference in using pencils vs the markers in trying to produce the volumes. Also what kind of paper are you using for this? Thanks for the video!
@LovellArt10 жыл бұрын
Hey Smasher9007 They come in many many different shades, but you can build the intensity up in layers, especially if you let each layer dry before the next, they are real nice to work with and have two nibs on each pen. Paper wise I'm not too sure, it was a thick card :)
@sbmayle10 жыл бұрын
How do you go about importing a large illustration like this onto your computer? Do you take a photograph or just have an incredibly large scanner? haha I'm an illustrator also and would really benefit knowing how you do this. Thanks!
@LovellArt10 жыл бұрын
Hey there! I have an A4 scanner so in this case I had to scan the image in 6 sections then piece it together in photoshop. Which is a pain! When back in the UK I get mine professionally scanned in :)
@drawfantasyart10 жыл бұрын
There is an easier way with Microsoft Paint for scanning an A3 sized illustrations, you scan both halves and then use the paste from function to open the first half, reduce the size to 50, then open the second half, reduce to 50. Then line up the drawings so you clear the overlap and save.
