I just finish w/ the The EASIEST way to Fashion Design! ( JACKET ) & the ZIPPER TUT - and now my BRAIN is on FIRE ! THX anyway learn a lot, like 2 weeks work w/ the Jacket and 2 days w/ ZIPPER TUT... ;) PS: TIP of the DAY: I Copy your "SHAPE" and Draw w/ Pen Tool OVER to have your exactly the same shape you do to Start the TUT like a Mall to have correct shapes - and is more easier to follow. ...

Hi good morning. Is there a way to save the object outside of this mirror effect. so, for example if I create a form ( a circle with modified shapes on it) and want to use it else where but not in that mirror effect. I can't seem to save the object because the other side is missing.

Hello! If I’m understanding correctly, you can simply draw the shape you want onto the artboard and not turn on the mirror effect. The mirror effect will mirror everything on the board unfortunately. Hoping that explains it!

Hi Fatima! Are you talking about the pencil tool? In that case - Of course! Feel free to use whichever Adobe Illustrator tool you are most comfortable with. If you’re talking about an actual pencil, then I should tell you that fashion designers use softwares to draw today. We know longer draw by hand as it is far too outdated a technique. Adobe Illustrator is actually the standard fashion Industry software used all over the world by fashion designers. Hoping that answers your question!

Hi! Make sure you’re on the latest Adobe Illustrator version. Everyone that commented not having the option was using an old version. Hope that helps!
