You know I've been following you for awhile, and I just wanted to say how great you are. Not only your skill but your willingness to teach and let people know how to do what they dream to do. You don't make people pay tons of money, or horde the secrets for yourself as most artists do with their drawing style. Thank you so much for what you do and regularly uploading, it's so very much appreciated!

There is a logical issue with the reflective ball. Light doesn't travel from the object to the light source, which funnily many make it seem. Actually the light from the sun needs to be reflected to the hand. Only at the very end of the curvature it gets dark on the sphere and hand. I know this is just a basic tutorial. I still recommend that people simply buy a nice reflective ball or simply take out the christmas decorations and look at them in their hand with a direct light source behind themselves they can see in the reflection.

@christianknuchel6 жыл бұрын
@@topa9487 No, it's not. We will never convert to character based emojis. They're usually small and almost unintelligible, and when translated to images client side they can vary in the way they're rendered. Besides, there are those among us who've come to embrace various emoticons like words, with semantics and emotions attached to them that run deeper than simple abstract understanding. For us, they don't simply translate to an existing word or action that can easily be portrayed by a substitute, but they carry an amount of meaning that can change the way we feel about an entire statement entirely. For some of us, there's even a difference between "xD" and "XD", for example, a nuance you seem to be completely oblivious of. This emoticon-culture was pretty standard among various internet frequenting demographics in the early aughts among young people, of which many are now in their 20s and 30s. All of this means that, whether you like it or not, you'll be seeing this use of emoticons for more or less the rest of your life, because we're not just going to abandon what has become an integral part of how we express ourselves because *you* have decided that we ought to follow the latest and hippest fashions in emoticon usage. Deal with it.

i would add reflected light to the base of the balls (light reflected off the palm) and roughen the edges of the soil and stone as you did with the fur ball. Also, because the highly reflective ball is chrome, I would desaturate the reflection of the hand a bit (because blue and orange gives grey) to blend the reflection into the surface of the ball and nature of the ball texture

Any chance of getting a video on drawing textures without brushes and/or with physical mediums?
@wilkobye95339 жыл бұрын
Littleandr0idman You can acctually apply this to drawing with a pencil, too. the first one is simply going slowly and softly from light to dark (try holding your pencil far away from the tip for the lighter "layers" and closer to the tip for the darker ones) if you're undertime pressure just smudge everything. The second one is basically the same but you need to slightly very the pressure. For the wood you can do the same ball as the second one again and on top of it draw the grain. (just use a rubber for the highlights.) the furry one, I dunno honestly, I always pretend it has hair and do it just the same way and the other too... honestly it actually just works how he explained it. simply use a rubber for the highlights
