The Duo Boon for Karina and Jacob only pops up if you have more than 2 of Karina's boons and just 1 Jacob boon. Karina immediately will put Jacob's patience/frustration meter at 80% and enemies near you will explode when it hits 100%. When you try to get another Jacob boon, the sprite will then be Karina having Jacob in a headlock. Jacob and Nathan's duo boon is Ghost Beef

Honestly when Karina came up and they started spitballing, I was like "Oh. God of Heckling. She doesn't grant a boon, she just turns up personally and heckles your opponent (and occasionally u) from the sidelines. Decreases accuracy and power of attacks by striking at insecurities, but there's nothing magical about it, its just psychological warfare. Sometimes, she throws explosive popcorn onto the battlefield for literally no reason"

I don’t know much about the video game Hades, but I do know way too much about Greek Mythology, so I think the gang would be similar in function to the nine muses, but they would all be different forms of comedy. Jacob personifies “The Straight Man”, Nathan would be long form bits, Karina would be sarcasm, and Julia would represent things that are just so absurd that they become funny. I also have a vague idea of how David and all of us would fit in, but it’s not fully fleshed out. But basically all together they are gods of comedy, but each one represents a different type.

Okay I want to take a crack at this: Yaffe: God of Bits. Your boons switch stats, often to hilarious effect. For example, switching dps and speed or a boon called "Worth your Weight in Gold" where your health is directly proportional to your money on hand and vice versa (we'll pretend Nathan actually did the Midas thing and Dionysus took the credit). Jacob: Seer of the Algorithm. On each level of hades, Jacobs boon changes effect, with each effect being best suited for one of the levels. It's never guaranteed these match up with where you are. Karina: Crime Incarnate. Karina's boons are all based on combos, where the quicker you kill foes the stronger you get, like an arsonists embers. the main effect resets after finishing a room. great for dungeon clearing, but isn't great against bosses. Julia: the Unseen Shadow. since Juia didn't do one, I'm ruling her main boon is to make you undetectable for the first few seconds of a room, with the downside that each room is slightly bigger and contain more enemies.

Building off of this some: -Nathan's first boon makes you choose one of your abilities (cast, attack, call, etc.) and then each subsequent boon of his you select will only ever effect that thing. The harder you commit to the bit, the more hilarious/disastrous it has potential to become. -Jacob's boons could also revolve around (attempting to) direct you towards certain actions or paths, so if you visit the shop a bunch of times, use all of your mana, only use omega abilities, or spend X% of the fight sprinting, the effect gets stronger. -Karina's boons all deal with DoTs, so their power stays extremely low and it's only by comboing and rushing through rooms that you empower them enough for the benefit to really shine, because the building effect only reduces the time before the next damage tick is applied, it's always one damage, the question is how often it triggers. -Julia's boons would be hilarious because they would affect stats from other games, like Charisma, Putting Accuracy, Turn Radius, Camera Zoom, and Toaster Repair. These would all have niche benefits for certain builds, and occasionally would even trivialize the game or some boss fights, but let's be real, you're mostly taking her boons because you've beaten the game a bunch of times and want to see her unique dialogue, or because she shows up more often in the challenge runs.
