This week was the last drawing class of the year, I have hated this teacher so much, such an useless piece of shit, there has been 9 months and still this video has fucking taught me more than my drawing teacher. I can’t believe I have paid for having such an stupid teacher there in the university. Luckily for me, and of course the ones that will enter in my degree after me, this was the last year of this piece of shit teaching at my university.

It's funny how his voice mirrors his drawing. At the beginning it's these huge strokes with a really loud voice, then as he goes into more detail and finer work his voice is almost a whisper! Great stuff though

The last minute between the end of the video and the reveal of the final realistic drawing are the details I'm looking for, I can draw a measured out sketch with good shading, but I don't know how to add the final details to make it that much more realistic of a portrait.

Yes, it makes sense. First draw everything accurately but in a rough and messy way. When everything is accurate and in the right place, simply polish everything and add small details bringing it to a refined finish.
