My favorite thing about Julia's tree panel -- they sent all the people who loved trees into space, then punished the ones left behind, who are by definition less tree loving, for failing to repent for their tree crimes. I did something similar back in high school with 2 friends. We'd pass a notebook around and take turns drawing panels without ever knowing how the plot would evolve (or even what characters might suddenly get involved. You better believe Sailor Moon and Elrond met the Backstreet Boys). 10/10 fun time waster, highly recommend.

This is a hilarious and useful way to build intrigue and tension in a story. Just shift the responsibility of story progression to someone else by reusing pre-drawn panels to add new stakes, cut-away to other story lines, and forever postpone the reveal of said new-stakes. "No dialogue but [be sure to add] woodgrain" sums this up well lmao Love seeing a fun stream comp on the official channel!
