I never thought I'd say this, but I almost wish I had a child so I could do this great project with him/her. Not only am I not a mom, I don't really even like kids. But, I want one for a few hours to do this project with! I was fortunate enough to go to a school with a great art room, but the way people are teaching art these days really blows my mind. We never learned about abstract artists in art class. It was more like, "Here's some clay. Each of you go make a cup or something."

i really love it this creativity. u may call it abstract, painting with thread or whatever. for me as far as a new piece is born from scraps, stitches,paints or any material it is worth trying .thanks for sharing.

I don't think this is drawing with thread, this is more make an abstract thing and then stictch thread on it. Nothing to do with painting with thread. I was picturing more draw thread through paint and put on paper. Oh well.
