Finished Sketchbook Tour #25 | SKETCHES OF SKETCHY PROPORTIONS!?

Another sketchbook has come and gone. I personally like to use smaller sketchbooks because they are quicker to fill and it gives me a sense of accomplishment that filling, say, a quarter of large sketchbook just doesn't. Gotta find what works for you. If you are like me and feel like you need a little push of encouragement/excitement, I recommend trying out thinner sketchbooks. It might be really helpful. Either way. Its not about filling sketchbooks as fast as you can; but, finding a system that works and benefits you. Have fun!

Can you help....I'm thinking of buying ohuhus and I've never worked with alcohol markers so should I buy the 48 marker set or the 72 to give me more range?

@@asfiyarizvi7591 If you’re looking for a set with more saturation variety, I would go with the 72 pack, but if you are looking for a set with just some basic colors and shades I would go with the 48. As a beginner, I started out using the 48. I think I need to get the pastel set (which is very new) or the skin tone set, though.

@Maria Wall I’ve been using ohuhu since last year and no worries. I mean it’s kinda a learning curve in general because if you’re drawing big or aren’t careful sometimes the ink will come out kinda streaky/patchy and you will see the sections. Other than that, they lay down pretty well and are really fun to Scribble with. They’re pretty blendable too. Colors are bright and pretty. I just use them almost the same way I’d use colored pencil. Also with those markers you’re better off working from light to dark shades. If you use a lot of highlights and white space in your art it’d be beneficial to leave designated white spots from the beginning cuz you can’t add lights on top of darks and whatnot One other thing though, before you add the markers to your drawings, make sure you test it (let it dry) or swatch first because I noticed some colors completely change once they’re dry and look totally different when you first lay them down vs five minutes later

I doubt you'll see this, especially since this video is several months old, but I just want to thank you. Your videos have inspired me to start drawing again, and your sketchbook tours and supply boxes have brought the joy back to art for me, and I want to thank you. I feel like you've given me permission to be messy, and sketchy, to make mistakes and draw whatever wherever. I've always had this preconceived idea that finished sketchbooks should be pretty and colored, and nice and tidy illustrations. Oh my God WHAT it seems just like yesterday I was watching the Sketchbook flip number 24 and now this is already finished! what?!? this one went by so quickly! It seriously feels like you just started it out how is it already finished! what type of sorcery is that?? and the thing is that the more you flip through it I'm like 'oh yes I've seen this video' and 'I've seen that one too!' and 'I like that video a lot!' and then I start to realize oh my god there was a lot of videos for this Sketchbook but it still feels like it went by extremely quickly!
