The first video that I have seen is "How to Draw Perspective." I have to say I've watched hundreds of drawing videos and your approach of teaching is very spot on. Here I'm beating myself up over what I draw and how I draw it. And your right 100% , just draw and have fun. And I've forgotten that. Thanks for reminding me about the fun of drawing. I know the deadline is up, but I still want to tell you. I found your videos while being a middle schooler inspired by my close friend, who was filled with a passion for art, and seemed to effortlessly draw (in my eyes) perfect portraits. I had a passion for writing books, and started drawing little things slowly. My friend generously taught me once over video chat, and I soaked EVERYTHING up. I slowly started watching art tutorials, and still have my first drawing of a face. Then, this past summer, I watched my first anime (other than Pokémon and Beyblade) My Hero Academia. I fell in love with drawing the characters, and desperately wanted to draw fanart and make my own characters. I soaked up everything I could, and decided I wanted to learn how to draw manga, so I could maybe in the future make my own! I first found your "How to Draw a Manga Page" and enjoyed it so much I watched almost all your videos. I don't know if you read these, but I hope you know you rekindled my passion for art, and would like to thank you for your humor and patience to translate, draw, and animate these videos. Thank you again.

I want to CONGRATULATE you on finishing your art book, your work is the best I've seen, I've been watching this channel for quite a while, I even watched some of your videos twice or three times. I first came across your channel when I inspired myself to become a manga artist and needed help with some basics on faces when I came across your video. Watching not only how to draw faces but even given pointers and tips and guides( basically all the same thing ,but you get my point)on how to better the faces and even given a 3d model. Not only do you help us learn or teach us but explain in detail in the most simplest and easy way so it's easier for us to learn. Your methods of tutorials are crazy insane on how it's explained. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HELPING "SOON TO BE ARTISTS" THAT ARE OUT THERE AND FOR HELPING ME, AND INSPIRING ME TO WANT TO CHASE AFTER MY DREAM EVEN MORE. Hi! New to your channel. Discovered it while trying to learn more about Manga drawing. I found your channel very friendly and it actually gave me courage to continue. My own experience with transferring one's skills into another medium is similar. Also exploring other mediums really improves our eye and shows itself in our drawing skills as well. At least this is what I experienced when I practiced colour. This video was both informing and encouraging. Because I remember back in university how much I was disappointed with training and other stuff. Seeing people learning and growing like you is actually a source of motivation in my opinion. Keep up the good work! 🐉

I love watching your videos. They’re relaxing, informative, and inspirational. I’m learning all the techniques I didn’t in school because art was not really taught. I got to take two classes in art (one cartooning) and they didn’t teach basics. It was basically take this image and copy it. Great fun but not really helpful when you’re trying to draw other things. Your videos break it all down and make it easy to understand for me as a beginner. I thank you for all that hard work and for the dedication it takes to create such great videos.

It's either lost for good (my mom is a clean freak and threw away what she deemed useless), gave it to my friend, or just plain neglect. I did save some of them but as many as I can count my fingers. Your videos are the videos that actually HELPED with my art skill, ESPECIALLY with the video where you talked about how to draw 'Anything' it RLY helped with my skill and I know, I know I am new to this channel but the first video I watched was the 'HOW TO DRAW ANYTHING' video. I struggled with drawing basic shapes but it rly helped wit drawing more complex art and portraits using the shapes you talked about.

Hi, I'm watching this video in 2024 so it's been 3 years but I'm still going to share what my first draw like a sir video was. I started watching you're channel in around February 2023. I was really struggling with anatomy and I was trying to find a video that could help me with it. I almost gave up until I found you're video on drawing the male anatomy. And it actually worked. Eversince that day I was really improving my art while watching you're videos, and I'm commenting this to say thank you for helping me with you're content. I'm planning to buy your art book soon.

I believe the first video of yours I watched was on how to do hands and I’ve stuck with you since. I think I was just watching a lot of videos on how to draw hands because they’re so dang hard to draw, but none of them helped me like your video. Seriously, thanks!

The thing I need to emprove now days is how to actually keep enjoying art, as time passes on I focus on getting better at art and less of drawing for fun, is getting so bad that it actually hinders my improvement and getting to enjoy it gets harder.

I absolutely needed and loved this. It goes to show how much time and effort is need just to improve in art and to have fun in it at the same time. I first got to know you from the Hands Anatomy video since I decided I decided I would start off by drawing hands. It was super helpful and now I'm able to draw hands that I am proud of. Then I explored other videos for different Anatomys and perspectives so on and so forth. It has definitely helped me so much and I thank you for that. However, suddenly up till now, I suddenly lost the ability to draw. I don't know what happened, how it happened. But now I just can't draw. It's been about 2-3 weeks now and I really want to start, but everytime I do, it doesn't work out. But I'll still continue to carry on until something works out. I do always think about art and what I can draw, what I want to draw and how to draw. I can't seem to apply it for some reason but I won't give up. Anyways, really love your videos and thank you very much! Congrats on finishing your art book too! It already looks amazing from just the view sneak peeks we got.

I have no idea how your channel is not bigger. The content you put out is filled with helpful information and super easy to understand. Not to mention the top tier editing and dry humor lol. Keep up the good work Marcel. I'm hoping one day that I can soon begin my journey on developing and improving my art skills as well.

Hello, I discovered your channel on youtube when I searched for a good video about perspective more than a week ago and this lead me to the first video I watched from your channel. I struggle with many videos because they overload me with peripheral information which is not necessarily important for but your videos keep me engaged and are a real pleasure to watch. I watched almost all of your videos multiple times. What makes your videos different is that you don’t just do “drawing commentaries”, but you instead show us the technique - how to do it. This forces me to do it myself and that really helps me learn how as opposed to just copying. This, in addition to your wonderful sense of humour and top notch editing makes all of your content extremely engaging and fun to watch. My dream is to draw game characters and perhaps also anime characters and I would love to see your art work and learn from it. Your video “How to Draw" same like "How I learned to Draw" gave me so much motivation which I didn’t have before. This came from not believing in myself, wanting to give up but this helped me change my way of thinking completely. I saw your German website and I watched some of them but unfortunately don't understand it. My German isn't that great but I hope you continue translating them to English, I’d love to watch all of them! I am amazed by your hard work and dedication to this skill you've developed and it has motivated me to do the same. Thank you very much. I hope I didn't write too much and disqualify myself :
