can drawmer 1972 use for saturation? i wanna use that when i'm mastering

It doesn't do saturation, does not have that circuit in it. It will accept line level audio, so you can use the Lift, and filters to shape pre-recorded material (as done in this demo), but if you are looking for something that would add harmonic distortion/saturation, you would want to look at the 1976 Saturation Processor.

Were all instruments & vocals in this mix tracked through the 1972 as well? Thanks for the demo!

No. The instruments and vocals were tracked through 1073 and 286 preamps, and UA 1176LN and LA-2A compressors. Thank you!
