The dislike of Draymond Green is based on his actions - kicking players in the groin, stomping on chests, eye gouging, and all sorts of other pathetic, violent actions, and he has the audacity to put on an act to make it seem like what he did was not intentional. Does he forget that there are cameras at every angle or does he not care, especially when he gets away with it year after year, and now we’re supposed to believe he’s a calm, composed, and deliberate player-coach justifying that yelling at teammates is the best way to teach them? SMH.

@ That’s a joke right? The NBA punishes players who fight or worse, stick up for themselves - look at what just happened to Marshall and Nurkic and they barely did anything. Jokic, LeBron, Steven Adams could all stomp on Dirty Draymond and his relatively small 230lbs., but they know if they do anything back to him they’ll be ejected and/or suspended (they are much more valuable players) and he knows it, so he takes advantage of the league’s actions or inactions, with cheap shots, some of which have been really dangerous. Raking eyes is a good example and yet he did it in a way to act like it was accidental - so weak. He deserves to be in the NBAs HOF - Hall of F/Ups.

I like Buddy but the thing is, he can't do that on a team that has been to finals 6 times in 8 years and have 4 chips. He has to rearrange his way of approaching the game playing for a high profile organization who is looking to win at all costs no matter what. They need consistency from him or it's not going to work. A lot of players are used to playing on mediocre teams who haven't done anything, it's a different situation now and he has to adjust.

Draymond's leadership skills have included yelling and making disparaging remarks to Kevin Durant during a game. I don't expect that had any effect on Durant leaving the Warriors. Draymond's leadership skills resulted in viciously punching teammate Jordan Poole, who was a shell of himself on the court for a long time after that. The Warriors ended up trading Poole at great cost after signing him to a large contract. Yes, we'll listen to Dray's wisdom on how he chooses to exercise his leadership.

Shots don't go in, defense sucks. Whatever it is he's doing to miss shots, I'm beginning to understand why he has travelled from one team to another. Perhaps having gotten his guaranteed contract the guy doesn't feel the need to excel consistently. GSW won this game but Hield's output has remained low.

Buddy Hield was carrying the team early in the season. Curry was missing games and they were still winning. He said yelling works, well Buddy played 15min and had 0pts and 1 assist. I saw Curry play a full game the other day and had 2pts.

Regular season 2 points is different that having those points in the playoffs when it matters, Kyrie literally scored 4 points twice in a playoff series and played like pure 💩against Boston, he was no help to Luka and that's why they lost. PJ Washington outplayed Kyrie and that's crazy, he helped Luka way more. To play like that when it matters nasty work💀

In addition to scoring a team has to stop the other team from scoring as well. When the Warriors were winning titles Draymond was the best defensive player on the floor and ran the offense. There were times when Draymond was the most valuable player on the floor. Neither player wins without the other. It's a team.

This is very funny. There's a talk by Ettore Messina about leadership where he compares different leadership styles using examples like Kobe, Duncan, and Manu Ginobili. There's definitely no leadership style that's better than another. What’s undeniable is that not all players have the ability to perform at the highest level when the leadership style involves yelling about what was done wrong, as it creates a pressure that affects their behavior in the following plays. Not everyone handles pressure the same way. When a leader has to flaunt their four rings to justify their actions, in my opinion, they lose credibility. But clearly, Draymond always feels the need to validate himself-another aspect where his insecurity is evident.

draymond catches a lot of flak and rightfully so but this isn't one of those times to scrutinize him. media just cherry picking because that kind of chatter is normal amongst all teammates in all sports. that's just competitive nature. they hear it all the time on the court and chose to highlight it just because it's draymond.

For few years Kerr holding Kuminga on the bench, that’s why never improved because Kerr holding him down! Look what happened last 2 minutes Curry missed all his shots, Kuminga helped warriors win!

It’s crazy how many idiotic comments are on here, I don’t think a lot of these people watch basketball or understand it. I’ve been watching the warriors before they got popular. If you think Green is not a leader then you are truly blind just saying. This is how sports is supposed to work, hold each other accountable. We need more of this in sports but also in all aspects of life. Seriously our society is way too soft anymore. Though times create strong people, easy times create weak people. Need to challenge yourself! Grow, evolve

Thanks guy. The comments seem to be about attacking Draymond. You are right. Most of the people don't understand basketball. I have watched Warriors from day one. I understand their basketball strategy. They are having problems getting the right players with the right work ethic. When the team hits a low, they want to fire the coach, trade this one or that one They are following hot takes instead of basketball. Many have not ever watched a whole Warriors game😊
