I've seen tons of people blame depression on certain jobs (nurses, teachers, lawyers, etc). Some jobs are very demanding and don't always make up for it in compensation. It is totally valid for someone blame the industry for that, if the managers aren't setting their employees up for success and fulfillment. So of course this should also be fine for former MLM reps to call out.

Literally three months later I received a compliant email from Monat stating that if I did not remove the post and respond back to the email within X amount of days I was going to receive consequences. Keep in mind I have not made a single dime while working with this MLM. It baffles me the amount of incompliant posts, Instagram stories, Facebook posts, comments, and the list goes on and on of these girls literally lying to the general public. And I highly doubt they’ve received compliance emails or phone calls. That situation plus another situation that a friend of mine had in the MLM and yours and Chelsea Suarez’s content is the reason why I will never sell with an MLM ever again.

You don’t hear real estate agents blaming the industry for their depression because the real estate industry doesn’t inject itself into their mental health, personal development, mindset, etc. in the way that MLMs do. Real estate and regular jobs do not have as part of the industry to attempt to make direct changes to your mindset and way of thinking about every single aspect of your life. MLMs do that. So yeah, they absolutely can be the cause of depression or anxiety because they are creating that harmful dynamic and putting hands into every corner of your life, which is not normal in other industries.

Most industries don’t tell you to cram your work into every spare moment though? One of their common recruitment tactics is to shame people by saying, “How much time do you spend on Instagram, you could be working this business instead!” I 100% buy that the whole grind every moment/always do self development attitude could negatively affect mental health. 7:26 actually, there are a lot of people whose mental illnesses were caused by their industry, even outside of MLMs. Creative industries, for example, are historically plagued with bad mental health. Acting, drawing, singing, playing an instrument… most people can name at least one person in all of these categories who had a mental illness caused or exacerbated by the industry (Judy Garland, Van Gogh, Whitney Houston, Tchaikovsky, to name one person for each category that I can think of off the top of my head). I’m a creative myself (illustrator) so I know the pressure to create and create and create even on days when you feel bad, even on days when you have nothing to give. Once you’ve been wrung dry, you have to squeeze out just a little more. And then a little more. We make sacrifices for our art, yes, and many of us do it for less than minimum wage. But at least (most) of us don’t have some inexperienced 20-odd lady yelling at us over a zoom call.

Nah, Dray just felt big because she had her cronies with her. She got called out on her disgusting behavior and is trying to backtrack. No defending that behavior. Do better.

On behalf of Ontarians, I apologize for Dray and WFABB- they are the worst representations of who we are generally (or at least I like to think so). This was once again a well thought out argument against the industry, and an indictment of bad behaviour. The huns have yet to learn about logical fallacies and how to present their position (spoiler: they have a terrible one) without trying attack others personally. Truth is an absolute defence...something Dray will need to learn if she's going to sue you under the 'Law of Defamation'.🤣

Bro she is mad she can’t do what you do. She tried to react with integrity and valid points, and everyone noticed how she failed to do it, now she’s mad. I’m dead 💀

Were they all asleep in the vid when Dray, friends and “bosslee” were making fun of that woman. Even admitting, while laughing, that you should stop making fun of her. Come on, can dish but can’t take.

The basis for every argument an MLM hun has to defend their scam is misconstruing information and not even addressing points presented. It’s so embarrassing.
@rachels25683 жыл бұрын
She wants MLMers to stay in their echo chamber because if they venture out to get an actual education on the subject, they might recognize the dangers and leave.

The comparison between faith and "believing in the business model of an MLM" Is laughable. There is no correlation at all.

There is a case where a man died from a heart attack due to the stress his boss caused him at his job and died…. But go on how the mlm isn’t responsible for depression…. Bumbaclot Waste man lmao 🤣 I’m embarrassed she’s from Toronto
@mariearteaga30563 жыл бұрын
At the job I was at before I was having literal panic attacks. My hands would shake from nerves because of how terrible the boss was. She screamed at me from across the room once. It didnt cause me to have a heart attack, but my nerves were at their wits end. I showed up one morning with anxiety so bad that I just walked out. I never do that. I always work my two weeks notice. I called her and said that I couldn't do it anymore. Moral of the story......yes you can suffer mentally from your job.
@Lamb2083 жыл бұрын
@@mariearteaga3056 wow I’m so sorry that happened to you. I’m glad you walked out! And further proves that your environment can directly link to anxiety, depression and much more

I don't know why she's acting as though she's the victim. It's not like she laughed at someone else's pain, right? Actually, she did. It's not like she invalidated someone else's negative experience with MLMs, right? Actually, she did that too. It's not like she downplayed the fact that loopholes exist to get around so-called compliance, right? No, no she did that too. It's not like she called someone else an MF in another language while laughing at them, right? No, I heard her correctly. It's not like she hasn't been promoting the same crappy way to rank up in any MLM? I wouldn't be surprised. She decided to play a stupid game, so she shouldn't run from the prize she won.

I can say with 100% certainty that poor mental health and depression can be a result of your career and the industry. I'm in social work, specifically working with kids in foster care. Sometimes it's impossible to not take that home with you. I'm embarrassed for people like Dray who spews things out so ignorantly.

She clearly did not watch the LuluRoe documentary. I know three friends who had to put 5k down to start!!! So frustrating that she is so naive
@bookscoffeeandcats7873 жыл бұрын
I just started watching that documentary. Also, mlms like Amway tell their "business owners" they need 100 pv of personal purchase monthly, and shame them when they buy non Amway products. 100 pv is anywhere between $300 and $400 per month. You can buy the equivalent type products at Target for $125 or less.

Yes Dray come and have a conversation and defend the MLM’s with Isabelle-let’s have a sensible live and see how it goes. Would you be willing to talk to the anti-MLMers? Bring your people as well-it will be clear who is helping who.
