12:00 there is quite a lot of queues there waiting to get on the coaster but I love the troublesome trucks coaster ride, it’s one of my favourite coasters in Thomas Land than any other ones and I’m glad your saw Percy coming your way!

6:39 that reminds me of the dragon from Paultons Park Christmas event seeing santa. You go through the queue line with animatronics on the sides of the queue line singing. The dragon, the white tiger king, talking tree, polar bear cubs and the famous three of the known reindeers was the most memorable one during visiting the area while I was just a child. I must say the queue line moving animatronics felt like walk through story. Very beautiful and festive colourful. Wish I can see it again but unfortunately got too old.

I love Drayton at Christmas! It's so well decorated and done! Drayton is the closest theme park to me, it takes about 45 to 55 Minutes ( depending on traffic ) for me.

Those reindeers are Rudolph and Blitzen. A singing dragon like my dad and I saw a singing christmas tree at The Trafford Centre in Manchester, yesterday. I think one of the passenger characters from Thomas was the silly bootlace man who liked to keep it until he gave to the guard as the bootlace man calmed down. Oh dear about Brett getting frightened on a carousel. Sodor airport was introduced on calling all engines. I thought I have heard toby’s old series bell on the background and The Thomas Song was 🎵It’s great to be an engine🎵. LOL. jingle bells, Batman smells, Robin Laid an egg. The Batmobile lost A wheel andThe Joker got away!🎵 Also, 🎵Deck The Halls with Doos of Scooby, Fa La La La La La La🎵. LOL. Anyway, Talking of The Joker, I went to see his own film on Monday. 🤡 Make sure you And Shawn look after yourselves. 😊

Shawn, just asking you going to Paultons Park Christmas event? They have beautiful Christmas lights. Not too sure about shows but at the inside the park at the entrance, there is a massive Christmas tree that plays Christmas music and dancing lights on there. I can't remember off top of my head on what minutes. At least my mother likes seeing it.

I've always been curious about the Thomas Land railway and how it works.

LightingDesk The wheels you see Thomas and the others use aren’t real, they’re facades. The real wheels are located behind the wheels which probably use electric power, but there’s no third rail or power line. The Whistlestop Park trains at some of the Six Flags parks use the same type of trains since they used to also be Thomas, and were built around the same time as Thomas Land at Drayton Mannor. The train at Drusillas Park also uses the same trains, as it too used to be Thomas. As for the other parks, the Fuji Q Highland trains are obviously electric powered due to the third rail at the middle of the track. The Edaville Thomas uses the same trains as the American Day out with Thomas events, which use non powered Thomas cars with an actual train pushing from either right behind or at the back of the train, with the exception of one single Thomas which is a fully operational steam locomotive. I’m gusssing the Kennywood Thomas works the same way as the Drayton Mannor, but the fake wheels don’t even move and it looks slightly different.

Hi TPW, as much as we all love our local parks in the UK and the creativity that goes into their developments, but you can't deny - they're lacking quite a bit compared to the rest of Europe, America and Asia. I know there's a few reasons but it would be ace to see a video where you got into detail about why we don't often see attractions on a level close to the rest of the world. I know we'll never get a giga :'(

Blimey tpw going to Drayton Manor the next day after the quiz night event at the roller coaster restaurant, i didn't get back home till 12pm and totally not with it, otherwise i would have come to Drayton Manor, luckily this Saturday im heading to winter wonderland but not the 1 in London as it's a bit expensive for me, im going to Stoke instead £15 wristband that's good going and im going to take my camera to record a video while im there

That reindeer doesn’t look very good. Look at the video slowly and you can make it’s spine and ribs now that is not how it’s supposed to look. It’s supposed to be muscled a little with some fat. That is neglect or something is wrong and it needs a vet. Either way someone should take a look very closely maybe the authorities. Now I am not familiar with English laws regarding this but in the USA it’s a federal offense to do that and jail time is possible or a very hefty fine.

Drayton manor is a great park but their zoo is utterly terrible not for the amount of animals but the conditions the poor animals live in , they live in cages and they're bland and boring! It's terrible!
