In this vlog we share all of the latest updates from across the park, along with getting back on all of our favourite rides! This includes checking out the 15th Anniversary celebrations in Thomas Land, including a new family log flume ride! As a Tamworth resident for nearly 30 years it was great to hear that Drayton Manor was sold a couple of years back. It was getting so run down with the lack of investment and a declining reputation. Now it’s turned into a theme park to be proud of. It’s exciting to hear the new projects going on and bringing life and credibility to the park. I can’t see why the park won’t be as popular as Alton Towers and Thorpe Park. I’m long overdue a visit there and look forward to seeing the incredible changes made.

Sadly they did remove apocalypse but apart from that it’s been a great new ownership

@@Kirithereal Apocalypse was at the end of its life. They spent £50000 on trying to get the floorless side running again last season but they found another problem with it and didn’t want to spend no more money on it. On the 5 year plan it lists another ride to replace Apocalypse so they could be installing a sit down smaller drop tower to go with the new coaster.

it can’t compete with alton towers and thorpe park, they have removed their USP. G-force, pandemonium and apocalypse. Can only see Drayton Manor going down from here, only hope they have is appealing to the younger demographic as opposed to both before hand.

I have been watching your videos for several years and love the detail and enthusiasm that you show. Thanks to this video I took my 2 year old to her first theme park (Drayton Manor) today and she loved it. Plenty of great attractions for kids and the park was quiet so most rides were walk on. My last visit was almost 20 years ago and wow this place blew me away. Superb theming and attention to detail. Sadly ride availability for ‘big kids’ wasn’t the best today. Maelstrom was down all day, shockwave went down multiple times and stormforce 10 barely ran. These things happen and still a great day. Keep up the great work and a big thanks again from me and my daughter.

Hello! It was great to see you at Drayton Manor on Saturday. We had a blast! The place is in such good condition and looking really well maintained. Rides all up and running except just the one breakdown later in the day. Some other parks could learn a thing or two from Drayton! Always good vibes at this cracking little park 👍🏻

I definitely agree with you Shawn, you need ‘after dinner rides’ for those of us that feel a bit green on the spinny/flippy rides to get our stomachs back in the right position. I think that’s what Thorpe are missing

I went today and it was very busy because schools were going. I saw that some year 11 students had like actually beat up a guy for telling them they cant push in. Very sunny but loads of rides broke down like all of them.

Another ride that we lost at Drayton Manor was G-Force, which was the coaster behind Maelstrom

Always found shockwave really fun. I never particularly found it rough either. Just make sure to stand up straight when adjusting the restraints and keep your head back. I also do hope when the time comes they could possibly get both a stand up and a sit down train or one train with half stand up and the other half sit down as while I'm not opposed to sit down if they removed stand up completely I think it would lose its charm and end up as a lacklustre coaster. Finally I hope when the ride comes to the end of its life they decide to retrack it as while its not a nemisis or big one it is truly iconic to drayton manor and I feel without it the park would feel incomplete. Great video anyway, though shaun.

Another amazing vlog, really enjoyed and can't wait for next which is Valhalla for me. Got to say created a good thumbnail for it. Keep it up, for this vlog. Loved how she stated new coaster or land will fill whole space. So does that mean were talking about a bigger coaster than Shockwave? Longer layout? Aswell land featured with new restaurant, two or more flat rides? Or is it just for coaster alone? Hoping for GCI Wooden Coaster with a lot of good theming like Wickerman? Or a Vekoma Flying coaster as something like this would be epic for this park? Or maybe it is UK's First RMC Hybrid Coaster? Similar, but longer layout to Dollywood's Lightning Rod? Or maybe could be coaster like Expedition Everest type? Doubt it, but sounding all exciting, can't wait to find out what type it will be. But nice vlog, really enjoyed and look forward to next video in future & update for Drayton Manor. 😀👍

Always thought that the Thomas Engine Tours could do with sections of track that look like they are connected too the main track soo they can have some scenes featuring static engines that could interact with Thomas, Percy or Rosie depending on which engine passes by.

my kids are 11 and 12 and not roller coaster experienced so im looking at what theme parks to take them to, i went here when i was their age but i think it had a safari or something back in 1991/92 im a bit fuzzy on that, this place is about 5 hours away from me but im also going to see if u do a peppa pig world vlog as that has some kiddie roller coasters i imagine and its only about 3 hours from me, thank you for making the videos they really help alot xx

Hello, great video. I thought I saw on their social media towards the end of the year that shockwave was going to be taken out, I only tried it once and actually found it really scary to be honest. The photo I believe it took was of me, basically crying, as it was so intense and until that point, I’d never done a standard coaster before.
