Eneru only had Observation Haki, that’s what Mantra is. There’s another type of Haki that bypasses the protections of a devil fruit’s ability, Armament Haki, and Eneru did not have it during the Skypeia arc.

Mantra was just observation haki. But we see latent armament in Alabasta when zoro fights Mr 1. The whole "cut steel" and "cut something and nothing" thing was an intro to armament haki. As for conquerors...we have seen it clearly in the past few arcs but if you want to count from way back , theres been a couple instances. With Shanks on whitebeards ship when hes knocking out everyone on the ship with his mere presence...etc etc. And more! Which im not going to spoil. Also there's other characters too that used haki but that's something that will be told to you by the story itself and I dont want to spoil it as its something cool. To clear some confusion...the One Piece world is a host to many different cultures and traditions....in the canon. So , Things are called differently in different islands or parts of the world. Haki is Haki , but Skypeians call it "Mantra" , other countries may call it something different , some characters literally just call haki "Willpower" because that's what it actually is...It's your will. Some people even consider devil fruit powers "Wizardry" in some places. Much like the real world , different things are known differently in different parts of the world. Which is pretty fucking cool.

Eneru only had observation haki, not the other two types. And Eneru’s observation haki had a lot of range but that was only because he enhanced it with his df, he wasn’t actually good at it. Which could be seen by how often Luffy hit him, even though he’s supposed to be able to see all of Luffy’s attacks.

Eneru was using observation haki, but he lost his focus in anger when he found out his devil fruit couldn't hurt Luffy. Eneru is basically just a big-fruit-user with a little premonition, but he's not actually strong. Luffy has a ton of physical strength and mental fortitude, which fuels his haki, so occassionally, his haki shone through before Rayleigh taught him how to properly use it. That's why Eneru lost.

haki is called different things on different islands. similar to how "fries" are called "chips" in england. different name. same basic thing. and it is possible to unlock observation haki without training. while eneru's mantra was powerful, it was an advanced form of the basic level. there are levels to observations haki but you will learn that later. and there is nothing to suggest that eneru knows armament or conqueror's haki. so if he fought a haki master like rayleigh, he'd still get smoked. sad but true.

Eneru was the Goat for using Haki so early on in the Story and he DID in fact master his Mantra. we never saw him use the other Haki types, but he is definetly one of the most advanced Observation Haki users
