@@markcunningham2243 I'd love to see a railgun of that kind ingame! The ones available just don't live up to it. Could be a weapon with long range, really high damage but for balance reasons very long recharge time aka low fire rate so that it's dps doesn't break the ingame balance. I'd also love to see some proper gattling turrets like they are used in the Expanse for PD. This game definately needs more dakka in dogfights 😅

I love your build!! However I made a couple small changes. I have 6 turrets (3 KE-42, 3 Maurader 115N Railguns) and I use 2 MKE-9 Guass as the in show rail gun. Also Aurora 13G grav drive reflects the light from the engines makes it look nicer taking off. I used white dwarf 3300 engines top and bottom for a fuller burner effect. That made it so I couldn’t use the nova nose for a hopetech thruster. Thank you for an awesome build! It’s an amazing platform to expand on!

The expanse is my favorite show, and is mostly the reason why I got starfield. Don’t know if the ship builder allows for such a massive ship, but it’d be awesome if you were able to design the MCRN Donnanger sometime.

Just make another character. There are plenty of XP guides on how to get really high level super fast, that way you don't have to worry about lvling, though you still have to get piloting up (easy in the flight sim).

Absolutely adore your builds Barden, they all look absolutely incredible and the best part is they actually tend to be highly functional in game, all of them I’ve built have ranged from solid to some of the best ships in the game. If I would make one request though it would be can you add the cost of the build to the intro bit where you talk about the shipyards? It would be nice to know how much to save up before diving into a build since you can’t save an unfinished ship. Keep up the amazing work!

I know this mod has no glitch-building, but you could glitch stack 3 or 4 of the round supernova engines right to the back and absolutely perfect the big single drive look of the rocinante. awesome build!

Arrgghhh...I tried building this with a class B reactor, but it seems like the double stack of the C reactor is critical for the rest of the structure. God I love Rocinante. Bravo Barden!

Sure that would help. In regards to the piloting skill, you can always tell as on the ship system overview screen at the at the start of each video when he is talking it tells you the reactor class (in this case C).

Never heard of the series but ive started a new game and boarded a CF Phantom at lvl 6 and after a few upgrades it does looks like this one, got some inspiration for next upgrades and expansions. I dont like making it very tall and im aways put the cockpit on the 1st lvl for easy acess. Nice and original build overall.

In show the gravity came from your Epstein Drive so that’s why ships were built the way they were In Starfield the gravity comes from your grav drive so you get normal 1G

If it's yellow, you should still be able to fly it.
