dang, one of the red flags you mentioned happened to me. Went to a chiro for backpain, said i needed to come 3x a week for 4-6 months to fix it. Prepaid for the entire thing. Each adjustment was under 2 minutes and out the door.

Feelings can definitely get stuck in the body. One of my clients (I am a massagetherapist) had a muscle in her glute that didn't wanna budge. As I know her in private, I knew her personality, and I knew she wasn't a person who spoke up for herself. So, as I tried to work that muscle out I started provoking her and ask her what she was really thinking about me at this moment. After a little while, she started cursing me out and called me the devil and a sadist, and I could feel that muscle knot fade away. Sorry for my poor english, I'm swedish. Don't know the correct words for what I wanted to say, but I hope you got what I ment.

I have a serious question. My mother had a fall in 2014 and over the years her pain has gotten worse with chronic arthritis, slipped vertebrae and whiplash and it injured her right side sternocleidomastoid. Now some people have told me certain chiropractors are good, but we've been holding off because of a risk they can hurt her even more. Do you recommend I seek that route? I heard acupuncture would not help that and people that have had that said it didn't work for them. Pretty much out of options at this point and a huge bill that we pay. My mother is in bed most of the day due to pain
