I always admired Jerry as a dad as WoWP was my absolute favourite show growing up. He reminded me a lot of my own dad before my parents divorced and he remarried. He then became the dad I wished I had again, cause after he had three more kids with my step mom, he forgot everything about me from when I was a kid. Memories from when I was little, poof. And unfortunately my mother could care less about taking photos or remembering shit after the divorce, so I actually have very little stories from when I was a kid. I also had a similar experience to Alex when Maxine came onto the scene after my little sister was born. Jerry remembered everything his kids did. He loved all of them equally, even if not at the same time 😅 I think that’s why I was so attached to the show, and David played the role absolutely perfectly.
