Why is it hard? They are studying or on rotations. Meet them at the hospital before or after a shift. Bring a cookie and something for you read while they study. What is hard about that?
@jasonlopez8499

@@triad6425 that’s the easy part. It’s being there for them when they get a horrible abusive day at their rotations. It’s being there for them when they are spiraling in sadness and stress and when they’re studying for board exams. It’s the mental part of the relationship that’s hard not the physical one.

I'm currently an MS3, married, was with my husband (bf at the time) for almost 3 years before I started med school. He is not in the medical field or anything to do with medicine/science, and I honestly value it that way. I have many married friends in high school, some to fellow med students, many others to non med students. Someone who truely loves you and wants to be with you can understand and make things work!

I am currently in my first year of medical school and my fiancé is not. It is hard but not impossible. He has a full time job and likes to work on side projects as well, so he is busy a lot, which helps. We prioritize going to the gym together as much as possible and try to watch an episode of tv together each night. It works but both people need to be as flexible as possible.

I beg to differ. Dating someone in medical school is like dating another you. You practically live the same lives, do the same things, stress over the same problems, crave the same goals and it sound extremely sad. My bf who is a business man that I’ve dated for the last 4 years has been the most amazing partner to have while going through medical school. He is able to massage me, spoil me with food, give me confidence boost (cause he is not suffering the same thing) and provide me emotional support all because he is all too free and I’m not. So trust me opposites attract way more than this. The light in their eyes looks so drained out, I wonder how anyone could possibly be having dating another medical related person. If you wanna have a study partner, just group study -.-

The phrase “born again” is used in the Bible to describe a spiritual rebirth or regeneration of the human spirit 12. According to Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, to be born again is to have the Holy Spirit transform our hearts from indifference and hostility toward God to a love of God and a desire for righteousness and holiness. The only way one can come to God and experience what it means to be “born again” is through repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ 1. Therefore, when Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3), he was emphasizing the importance of spiritual rebirth as a prerequisite for entering the kingdom of heaven.

THANK GOD that my boyfriend understantes me I'm a medical student while he works AND goes to college at night so we both know about running out of time We are able to see each other only on weekends, and there are some of them that we arent able to (cause I need some extra study or he has a deadline soon, what will be happening this weekend) We want to have a good life together so we see this as a sacrifice to build the life we want Nothing beats love and a good comunication. Good luck with everyone struggling with this❤

I started dating my fiancé about halfway through didactic year of PA school. He was a neurosurgery intern. His schedule was (and still is) significantly worse than it was in medical school 😂 yes I was studying every second of every day but he was doing 24 hour shifts almost every other day so neither of us had much time haha. But there’s no way either of us could’ve been with someone who was not medical-it’s nice when someone understands why your schedule is the way it is and why you have no time to devote to the other person. It also helps that we are both super independent and could go days without even talking to the other person and be totally fine.

Stay single in medical school. You’re paying A LOT of money to be there and don’t need drama or distractions or guilt about a partner’s needs. There’ll be time for dating when you’re done and you’ll have pick of the litter as a doctor!

@@sandrameesala6804I was in ultrasound school while I was married. Super demanding course. Didn’t have time to dedicate to school and my spouse. We grew apart during my training and he started messing around (because he needed attention). He was demanding and unsupportive of my training. His antics distracted me from school and I was stressed out which led to me being in a MVR during my training. I was injured and it put a hiccup into my training. As a result, I didn’t finish my training and he divorced me as soon as I was on medical leave from school so I couldn’t afford to go back. Now I have so much student loan debt and was only 6 months from finishing my training (had a new job waiting for me too). Only 2 of my other classmates made it through school with marriages intact. One classmate even lost custody of her 8 year old son because of school demands. I wish I would have not been married or in a relationship when I went to school so I could have put 100% effort into myself instead of having to balance school with a toxic husband.

My husband is a 4th year medical student right now. We've been together for 12 years, married for 8, and have two little kids. I work as a business professional and earned my MBA while he was in medical school. It's been a lot of work, but I believe our relationship before this step in our lives is what has made the difference. I wouldn't recommend starting a new relationship in med school, that's for sure.

The library should really get it together in Medical School, they could make a lot money when they rent a desk like Priceline or Expedia. Sure it could be lucrative the Med School Library. Also, when it comes to media, there's more information there. The Pope got married? The president has a mistress. The mistress now owns a purse etc. Gate Med Gate. Whom hasn't slept in the library for an hour or two or three and used the desk, hard desk for a pillow...half your face and hair flat as a board. Medical Universities have no idea how to make money...sure the Library Fee needs to come with Priceline Expedia platforms..even the check out materials like Videos, slides and DVD..haha This may not be the Bridal Warehous in Penn but we will race and push.
